# Bookodile vs GoCheckin

> GoCheckin is a walk-in check-in kiosk with text marketing and review requests, sold beside a separate online-booking product and a point of sale, all priced in US dollars. Bookodile is one booking system with every feature included and a booking page in 17 languages, billed per location and per booking spot, with SMS the one thing billed by use.

## [Bookodile or GoCheckin: what matters most](https://bookodile.com/compare/bookodile-vs-gocheckin#game-changers)

| Bookodile | GoCheckin |
|---|---|
| **[A free plan, not a trial — with every feature](https://bookodile.com/compare/bookodile-vs-gocheckin#game-changer-every-feature-on-a-free-account)** — Start free and stay free: one location, two booking spots, 40 bookings a month, and every feature and add-on, the website and AI Chat included. Only SMS need a paid plan, because each one is billed. | **No** ([A free plan that stays free](https://bookodile.com/compare/bookodile-vs-gocheckin#free-tier)) — No free plan: Go Booking Basic is $20 a month for five team members plus a $100 setup fee, after a 14-day trial. |
| **[A website you build with AI — on your own domain, free](https://bookodile.com/compare/bookodile-vs-gocheckin#game-changer-a-website-you-build-by-asking)** — Tell AI Chat what you want and it builds your website with you. The first draft comes in moments, made from your services, prices, team, hours and reviews, in a design you choose. Then just say what to change: “make it feel warmer”, “bring over the words from my old site”, “rewrite our About text”. Photo galleries sort into categories you name, and a category linked to a service gets its own Book button. Prices and opening hours stay in step with your bookings. Your own domain connects at no cost, and nothing goes public until you publish. | **Extra cost** ([A website for your business](https://bookodile.com/compare/bookodile-vs-gocheckin#website)) — Built by its agency's team, Fastboy Marketing — a mockup, two revisions, two to three weeks — for $599 one-time with a year of hosting; the booking is embedded, not filled from your services. |
| **[AI Chat — an AI assistant that helps with everything you need](https://bookodile.com/compare/bookodile-vs-gocheckin#game-changer-an-assistant-that-does-the-administration)** — Ask in your own words, typed or spoken, and AI Chat does the work. It sets up services, prices, the team and opening hours. It writes your bios and service descriptions and builds your website. It blocks out a holiday and hands those bookings to a colleague, moves bookings, and tells you what tomorrow holds and who changed what. Every change comes with Undo, in every account, the free one included. | **Partly** ([An AI assistant that sets up and runs your account](https://bookodile.com/compare/bookodile-vs-gocheckin#ai-assistant)) — No AI is published in GoCheckin's products; its agency sells AI-written social media posts from $49 a month. |
| **[Two people, one visit — each blocked only for their part](https://bookodile.com/compare/bookodile-vs-gocheckin#game-changer-two-people-one-visit)** — A visit can give each part its own team member, time and room, back to back. Each person is blocked only for their own part, and your team moves the whole visit in one step. | **Not published** ([Back-to-back services with different team members](https://bookodile.com/compare/bookodile-vs-gocheckin#multi-staff-sequential)) — Per-staff calendars and auto-assign are all it publishes; nothing on two people in one visit. |

- Website: https://gocheckin.net
- Headquarters: Houston, Texas, United States
- Founded: 2016
- Built for: Walk-in businesses — nail salons, hair salons, spas and barbershops in the vendor's words; the booking product also lists medical offices and home services

## [What GoCheckin charges](https://bookodile.com/compare/bookodile-vs-gocheckin#pricing)

Three products, three subscriptions, each with monthly tiers and a one-time setup fee, all in US dollars with no other currency or region published. Go Check In, the kiosk, is $59, $99 or $199 a month plus a $100 setup fee; Standard and Advanced state how many emails and texts they include, and the $59 Basic plan lists birthday, return-reminder, promotion and review texts without stating a quota. Go Booking, the online-booking product, is $20, $40 or $99 a month by team size — five, twenty or unlimited, with extra team members at $10 per block of five — plus its own $100 setup fee; its tiers are on gocheckin.net/booking. Go POS is $50, $99 or $149 a month by team size plus $200 to set up, on fastboy.com. Texts beyond a plan's quota are sold in bundles. There is no free plan. fastboy.com/pricing also sells an 'AI Marketing 2026' bundle at $349 a month that puts Go Check In Standard and Go Booking Deluxe beside the agency's AI social media, social media tools, website and SEO. The vendor's pages disagree on the trial — gocheckin.net offers Go Booking for 14 days without a card, fastboy.com offers Go Booking and Go Check In for 30 days — and fastboy.com's Go Check In page says 'No per-SMS fees, no limits on contacts, no feature tiers. Everything for $99/month.' directly above a table of three tiers with text quotas and paid text bundles. The old gocheckin.net/pricing address now returns a 404; the check-in prices sit on the home page.

## What Bookodile charges

A base rate per location plus a rate per booking spot that actually took a booking that month, in country bands. Every feature and add-on is included at every price, there is no commission, and it is free at one location with up to two active spots and 40 bookings a month. The one thing billed by use is SMS: they need a paid plan and are billed per SMS on its invoice, capped each month. The figures live on one page so they cannot drift: https://bookodile.com/pricing — and the model is explained at https://bookodile.com/docs/what-bookodile-costs.

## [Why businesses switch from GoCheckin](https://bookodile.com/compare/bookodile-vs-gocheckin#why-switch)

- **[Your customers book in their own language, with their own phone number](https://bookodile.com/compare/bookodile-vs-gocheckin#reason-your-customers-book-in-their-own-language-with-their-own-phone-number)** — GoCheckin's booking page is in English with no language switch, its phone field takes a ten-digit North American number, and every price it publishes is in US dollars. Bookodile's booking page comes in 17 languages, Vietnamese, Spanish and Chinese among them, with up to eight per location and a switch for the customer, set separately from the language you read your dashboard in, and every time is shown in your business's own zone. Its wording beyond English, Slovak, Czech and Vietnamese was written by AI and has not yet been read by a native speaker.
- **[One product and one bill, with no setup fee and no bundles to buy](https://bookodile.com/compare/bookodile-vs-gocheckin#reason-one-product-and-one-bill-with-nothing-to-buy-on-top)** — GoCheckin is three subscriptions — check-in, online booking and point of sale — each with a setup fee, plus text bundles when a plan's quota runs out and extra team members in blocks of five, and a website is built and sold by the vendor's agency, from $599 one-time with a year of domain and hosting. Bookodile is one subscription: a base rate per location plus the booking spots that actually took a booking that month; every add-on is included, and so is a website built from your booking setup, which can sit on a domain you already own at no cost; the one thing billed by use is SMS, per SMS on the same invoice and capped each month; there is no setup fee and no per-booking charge, and one location with up to two active spots and 40 bookings a month is free.
- **[A price and a time per person, rooms with a capacity, and a buffer — written down](https://bookodile.com/compare/bookodile-vs-gocheckin#reason-a-price-and-a-time-per-person-rooms-with-a-capacity-and-a-buffer-written-down)** — GoCheckin's help centre holds three articles on its booking product, and its product page says 'per-staff calendars, services with durations'; it publishes nothing on a different price or duration per team member, on buffer time, or on rooms and equipment as bookable resources. Bookodile prices and times a service per team member or per category, books rooms and equipment with a capacity and their own hours, and blocks a buffer of up to 120 minutes after any service you give one.
- **[A waiting list that offers a cancellation by itself](https://bookodile.com/compare/bookodile-vs-gocheckin#reason-a-waiting-list-that-fills-a-cancellation-by-itself)** — Go Check In's queue is for people already at the door: they check in on a tablet with their phone number and join a digital waitlist for walk-ins. Go Booking's page lists 'waitlist SMS' for restaurants and says nothing more about it, and nothing published offers a cancelled appointment to someone who wanted that slot. On Bookodile your team adds customers to the list, and when a booking is cancelled the time is offered automatically by email to whoever has waited longest for that service, with three hours to confirm; confirming books them straight in.
- **[Email reminders that are included, not metered](https://bookodile.com/compare/bookodile-vs-gocheckin#reason-reminders-that-are-included-not-metered)** — Go Booking's confirmations and reminders draw on a monthly text quota — 1,000 on Basic, 2,000 on Deluxe — and extra texts are bought in bundles. Bookodile sends confirmations, a reminder the day before at 8:00, two hours before or both — your choice — cancellations and follow-ups by email at every price, in your business's language. By SMS too with the SMS messages add-on on a paid plan, billed per SMS rather than from a quota and capped each month — to numbers in 14 countries, with Czechia, the US and Canada coming soon.
- **[Roles you define, not passcodes you hand out](https://bookodile.com/compare/bookodile-vs-gocheckin#reason-roles-you-define-not-passcodes-you-hand-out)** — GoCheckin documents per-person toggles, staff codes and passcodes for the cash drawer, gift cards, promotions and customer look-up, most of them in the point of sale, and no custom role. Bookodile has Owner, Manager, Employee and Receptionist ready-made, or a role you build permission by permission — including whether someone sees only their own bookings, customers and figures.

### [Pricing](https://bookodile.com/compare/bookodile-vs-gocheckin#group-pricing)

| | Bookodile | GoCheckin |
|---|---|---|
| [A free plan that stays free](https://bookodile.com/compare/bookodile-vs-gocheckin#free-tier) | **Yes** — Free at one location with up to two active booking spots and 40 bookings a month, with every feature and add-on — SMS aside, which need a paid plan. Not a trial — a plan a small business stays on. A paid plan starts with 14 days free rather than a charge. | **No** — No free plan on gocheckin.net or fastboy.com. The cheapest way in is Go Booking Basic at $20 a month plus a $100 setup fee; Go Check In starts at $59 a month plus $100. [source](https://gocheckin.net/booking) |
| [No commission on bookings](https://bookodile.com/compare/bookodile-vs-gocheckin#no-commission) | **Yes** — No commission, no new-client fee, no per-booking charge. The bill is the subscription, plus any SMS you send with the SMS messages add-on, billed per SMS and capped each month. | **Yes** — 'No per-booking fees, no hidden charges', and every Go Booking plan includes unlimited bookings. No new-client fee is published. [source](https://fastboy.com/services/go-booking) (read 2026-10-16) |
| [Every feature included](https://bookodile.com/compare/bookodile-vs-gocheckin#everything-included) | **Partly** — Every feature and add-on is included — reminders, reviews, vouchers, the waiting list, forecasting, Messages, AI Chat and the website with your own domain. The one thing billed by use is SMS: the SMS messages add-on is free, and each SMS is billed monthly with a paid plan at a price per country, never more a month than a cap that starts at the plan's own price. Each location is billed at a base rate. | **No** — Check-in, online booking and point of sale are three subscriptions with three one-time setup fees — $100, $100 and $200. Texts beyond a plan's quota are sold in bundles, extra team members on Go Booking at $10 per block of five, extra Go POS devices at $25 a month each, and the ticket printer separately; fastboy.com's pricing page lists digital signage at $500 one-time. [source](https://fastboy.com/pricing) (read 2026-10-17) |
| [The same features on every plan](https://bookodile.com/compare/bookodile-vs-gocheckin#no-plan-gating) | **Partly** — One plan, with free limits: every account, including a free one, has every feature and add-on. The one exception is SMS, which need a paid plan, because each one is billed on its invoice. | **No** — Go Booking caps team members at five on Basic and twenty on Deluxe, and reminder texts at 1,000 and 2,000 a month; only Premium is unlimited. On Go Check In, unlimited survey, birthday and return-reminder texts come only with Advanced at $199. [source](https://gocheckin.net/booking) (read 2026-10-16) |
| [No minimum term or cancellation fee](https://bookodile.com/compare/bookodile-vs-gocheckin#no-contract) | **Yes** — Monthly, no minimum term, no cancellation fee. There is no yearly plan. | **Partly** — Monthly, 'cancel anytime', with no minimum term stated for the software. Monthly fees are non-refundable, returned hardware carries a restocking fee of 20 to 50 percent, and the card-processing programmes sold alongside have 12- or 24-month minimums with a 30 percent early-cancellation charge. [source](https://fastboy.com/return-refund-policy) |
| [Processes your customers' card payments](https://bookodile.com/compare/bookodile-vs-gocheckin#payment-processing) | **No** — Bookodile does not take your customers' money. The payment-tracking add-on records what you were paid; payment stays between you and the customer. | **Yes** — Deposits, partial or full payment at booking, and cards on file through Stripe or Bamboo Pay on Go Booking; payment at the till through Go POS. No card rate is published on any vendor page. [source](https://gocheckin.net/booking) |

### [Taking bookings](https://bookodile.com/compare/bookodile-vs-gocheckin#group-booking)

| | Bookodile | GoCheckin |
|---|---|---|
| [A hosted booking page](https://bookodile.com/compare/bookodile-vs-gocheckin#hosted-booking-page) | **Yes** — bookodile.com/your-business, with your logo, colour, services — each with its photo, when you add one — and hours. One page per location. | **Yes** — Each business has a page on booking.gocheckin.net, reached by store number, and since 2023 a hosted landing page with name, address, hours, service menu and photos for a business without a website. [source](https://support.gocheckin.net/article/landing-page-gocheckin) |
| [Booking on your own website](https://bookodile.com/compare/bookodile-vs-gocheckin#embed-widget) | **Yes** — One snippet embeds the whole flow in any site — WordPress, Wix, Squarespace or hand-built — inline or behind a Book-now button in your brand colour. A QR code is generated for print. | **Partly** — The product page promises a 'Book Now' button for your own website. The help centre publishes no embed instructions — no iframe, no script — so how the button is placed, and whether the flow can sit inside your page, is not published. [source](https://gocheckin.net/booking) |
| [Customers book without an account or an app](https://bookodile.com/compare/bookodile-vs-gocheckin#guest-booking) | **Yes** — The customer gives only the details you require — a name, and an email, a phone number or both. No account, no app, no password. My Bookings, a web page they sign in to with an emailed code or Google, shows every booking they hold, if they want it. | **Yes** — The booking page is a public web page: the customer picks a service and a time, then leaves a name and a phone number. No account and no app. The phone field takes a ten-digit North American number. [source](https://booking.gocheckin.net/5154/appointment/book) |
| [Several services in one booking](https://bookodile.com/compare/bookodile-vs-gocheckin#multi-service-booking) | **Partly** — Combo services chain stages into one booking, and the extras you configure are offered during booking, in more than one round. Customers do not pick arbitrary pairs from the catalogue — you decide which combinations exist. | **Not published** — The public booking page has a services step. Whether more than one service can go into a single booking is stated neither on the product page nor in the help centre's three Go Booking articles. |
| [Back-to-back services with different team members](https://bookodile.com/compare/bookodile-vs-gocheckin#multi-staff-sequential) | **Yes** — Each stage of a combo can have its own team member, its own duration and its own room, booked back to back. Each person is blocked only for their own stage, never for the whole visit. Staff move the whole visit in one step, with the times that fit every person in it shown first. | **Not published** — Nothing published describes how a booking with two team members is scheduled — whether the services run back to back and whether each person is blocked only for their own part. The product page says 'per-staff calendars, services with durations' and 'auto-assign staff', and stops there. |
| [Rooms, chairs and equipment as bookable resources](https://bookodile.com/compare/bookodile-vs-gocheckin#resources) | **Yes** — Rooms, chairs and equipment with a capacity and their own hours. A service can need a resource alone, a person alone, or both, and capacity is enforced when the booking is made. A service linked to several takes whichever one is free; a booking never holds two at once. Each one is open to anyone who does its services, or kept for named people when it belongs to them — three juniors share a chair while the master has his own. | **Not published** — The booking product page lists 'multi-resource (rooms, tables, staff)' in a section written for hotels and restaurants. No help-centre article covers rooms or equipment, capacity, or booking a resource without a person. |
| [Classes and events with a capacity](https://bookodile.com/compare/bookodile-vs-gocheckin#group-classes) | **Yes** — Events with a capacity and a registration list for one-off things; a recurring class is a service on a resource with a capacity, so it fills up and stops. | **Not published** — 'Recurring sessions, packages, member sign-in' appears on the product page in a line aimed at studios. No article documents a class with a capacity or an event. |
| [A different price per team member](https://bookodile.com/compare/bookodile-vs-gocheckin#per-staff-pricing) | **Yes** — A service can be priced per team member, or per category such as Junior and Senior. The customer sees each person's price as they choose who, and the category's name too if you show it. | **Not published** — Not mentioned on any vendor page or help-centre article. What is documented per team member is a commission and supply share in Go POS, which is payroll, not the customer's price. |
| [A different duration per team member](https://bookodile.com/compare/bookodile-vs-gocheckin#per-staff-duration) | **Yes** — A service can take a different time per team member. Leave someone blank and they use the service's own duration. | **Not published** — The product page says 'services with durations', and the copy-appointment article lets staff edit the duration of one appointment. A duration per team member is not mentioned anywhere. |
| [Buffer time that blocks the calendar](https://bookodile.com/compare/bookodile-vs-gocheckin#buffer-time) | **Yes** — Each service can have its own buffer after it, up to 120 minutes, which blocks the person and any resource it used. Enforced on the booking page and in the booking API. | **Not published** — Not mentioned on any vendor page or in the help centre. |
| [A waiting list with automatic offers](https://bookodile.com/compare/bookodile-vs-gocheckin#waitlist) | **Yes** — Your team adds customers to the list; they cannot join it from the booking page. When a booking is cancelled, the time is offered automatically by email to whoever has waited longest for that service, with three hours to confirm — or until the time starts, if sooner — and confirming books them straight in. If nobody confirms, it goes to the next person waiting for that service within about ten minutes, as long as the time is still ahead and still free. | **Partly** — Go Check In is a walk-in queue, not a waiting list for appointments: customers check in on a tablet or kiosk with their phone number, and the vendor's Go Check In page describes using it to 'check in the queue digitally' and to 'build a digital waitlist' for walk-ins. Go Booking's page on gocheckin.net lists 'waitlist SMS' in a line aimed at restaurants and says nothing more. No automatic offer of a cancelled appointment to a waiting customer is published. [source](https://fastboy.com/services/go-checkin) (read 2026-10-16) |
| [Recurring bookings](https://bookodile.com/compare/bookodile-vs-gocheckin#recurring-bookings) | **Partly** — Your team can repeat a booking of one service from the calendar — weekly, every two weeks or monthly, up to 52 visits — and cancel one visit or the whole series. A combo or a booking with add-ons cannot be repeated. Customers cannot book a recurring appointment themselves. | **Partly** — What is documented is a copy tool: staff duplicate an existing appointment and change its date, time, service, duration or team member, one visit at a time. A repeating series set once is not documented beyond a 'recurring sessions' line aimed at studios. [source](https://support.gocheckin.net/article/re-booking-va-copy-appointment-2) |
| [Booking rules](https://bookodile.com/compare/bookodile-vs-gocheckin#booking-rules) | **Yes** — Minimum notice (up to 72 hours), how far ahead (up to 365 days), start times every 5 to 60 minutes, auto-confirm or your approval, and a cancellation window (up to 168 hours) with late cancellation allowed or not — one set of rules per location. | **Partly** — Auto-confirm or approval from the business's app, blocking specific time slots, blocking a named customer from booking online, and start times set to the minute. Minimum notice, maximum advance and the slot interval are not published. [source](https://gocheckin.net/booking) |
| [Customers cancel or reschedule themselves](https://bookodile.com/compare/bookodile-vs-gocheckin#self-service-cancel-reschedule) | **Yes** — Customers reschedule or cancel themselves from the link in their confirmation and reminder emails, or in My Bookings, outside your cancellation window, and can tell you why. A reschedule moves the whole visit in one step to a free time with the same team members and price, and the customer's calendar event moves with it. Inside the window they cannot reschedule online, and can cancel only if you allow late cancellations, once they accept they may be charged. | **Partly** — Customers 'confirm or cancel directly from the text'. Rescheduling by the customer is not described; the product page puts rescheduling in the business's app. [source](https://fastboy.com/services/go-booking) |
| [Deposits and no-show protection](https://bookodile.com/compare/bookodile-vs-gocheckin#deposits-no-show) | **No** — No card on file and no deposits, because Bookodile does not process payments. A no-show is marked on the booking and counted on the customer's record, never charged. You can let customers cancel late once they accept you may charge them; collecting it is up to you. | **Yes** — 'Bookings with deposit' on every Go Booking plan: the customer's card is taken at booking, the owner charges the deposit from the dashboard, ticks a no-show box, and refunds in full, in part or more than once. The vendor's product page adds 'charge cancellation fees automatically'. [source](https://support.gocheckin.net/article/deposit) |
| [Extras offered while booking](https://bookodile.com/compare/bookodile-vs-gocheckin#upsells) | **Yes** — Extras are offered while booking, per service or per category, in up to several rounds, with an optional discount for adding them. A service can be offered only as an extra, off the list of services. | **Not published** — No add-on or suggested-service step is documented for the booking page. Go POS has a discount item at checkout, which is a different thing. |

### [What customers see](https://bookodile.com/compare/bookodile-vs-gocheckin#group-customers)

| | Bookodile | GoCheckin |
|---|---|---|
| [A website for your business](https://bookodile.com/compare/bookodile-vs-gocheckin#website) | **Yes** — Included in every account, the free one too. Built from your booking setup — services, prices, team, hours and reviews stay in step with it — with templates (switching one keeps every page, or takes a template whole with its texts rewritten for your business from your setup), one page or several in any of them, your own look, extra pages, languages, your Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and YouTube as icons in the footer, and a photo gallery in categories you name — a category linked to a service opens its photos with that service's price and a Book button — photos made or enhanced with AI, changed by asking in your own words — pointing at any part of it on the preview — or by hand, typing straight onto the page and moving, copying or changing its sections where you see them, on a computer or a phone, and nothing public until you publish. An old website comes over by asking: its pages rebuilt as sections, with their own words and photos. It starts at yourname.bookodile.com; connect a domain you already own, at no cost, and it moves to www.yourbusiness.com. Every Book button opens your booking page at bookodile.com/your-business — the one under each team member with that person already chosen — and a Website visits report counts who came, from where, and how many booked, without cookies. Running promotions, upcoming events and announcements show on it too, and update themselves as they start and end. No blog, no online shop, and no code of your own. | **Extra cost** — Sold separately by the vendor's agency, Fastboy Marketing, and made by its team — a discovery call, a homepage mockup with two rounds of revisions, then the build: $599 one-time with domain and hosting for a year or $899 for three, delivered in two to three weeks, with online booking built in ('works with our Go Booking system and other major platforms') and Google Analytics and Search Console set up. Website and SEO also come inside the agency's 'AI Marketing 2026' bundle. The page says both 'no templates' and 'choose an SEO-optimized website template'. GoCheckin's own Landing Page is a simple page made from the name, address, phone, hours, menu and photos the business enters, and takes bookings, for a business without a website. | [Makes and improves your photos with AI](https://bookodile.com/compare/bookodile-vs-gocheckin#ai-photos) | **Yes** — Included in every account, the free one too, up to 30 photos a month per account, each try counted. Take a photo on your phone and Enhance it, a team member's or a service's too: in your own words in any language, with ideas for your kind of business, by picking a look from pictures, or by putting a person or finished work into a photo of your own place, with before and after to compare. Create a photo from a description for a place on your website that has none — the top of a page, a service's cover, a card, or your gallery — in your own photo style. Then say what should change, like "remove the hand" or "clear the background", and it edits that photo, keeping every version. AI Chat can make several at once. You choose each one, and nothing is public until you publish. It works on your website's photos: it will not make a person's face, your team's portraits or the outside of your place, because customers should see the real ones. | **Partly** — Only for social media posts, and sold separately by the vendor's agency, Fastboy Marketing, rather than built into the booking product: its AI Social Media service, from $49 a month, lists 'AI-generated custom graphics and short-form video content', with 'AI-Enhanced' image posts on its higher plans. The product pages on gocheckin.net do not mention it. [source](https://fastboy.com/services/social-media) (read 2026-10-30) |
| [Listed in a consumer marketplace](https://bookodile.com/compare/bookodile-vs-gocheckin#marketplace) | **No** — No marketplace. Your booking page carries only your business, and no competitor is shown beside you — which also means it sends you no new customers. | **Partly** — GCI Rewards, a customer app the vendor published on Google Play in the United States store (updated 29 September 2026, 'our first release'), says it helps customers 'discover nearby salons on the map and browse their work', pick one and book it. The vendor's own home and product pages do not name the app, and nothing says whether every business on the vendor's software appears in it. Each business's booking page on booking.gocheckin.net shows that business alone. [source](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.fastboy.gci.enduser) (read 2026-10-17) |
| [An app for customers](https://bookodile.com/compare/bookodile-vs-gocheckin#customer-app) | **No** — No consumer app to download. Customers book in the browser. My Bookings, a web page they sign in to with an emailed code or Google, lists every booking they hold with any Bookodile business; there they cancel, keep their details up to date and can turn off a business's SMS. | **Partly** — GCI Rewards, on Google Play, its first release updated on 29 September 2026: a customer finds businesses on a map, books an appointment in a few taps, earns points at each check-in and turns them into discounts, and buys and manages gift cards. The vendor's Google Play developer page shows it in the United States store, though not in every country's, and the vendor's home and product pages do not name it. Its App Store developer page does not list it: of its eight apps, six are for the business and its team — GCI Business, GCI App Platform, Go_POS, Go Check Out App, Fastboy Client and FastBoy Makerting — and two are check-in apps, GoCheckin Station and Checkin Kiosk, where a customer enters their details on the business's tablet at the door. The 'native mobile app' on the booking product page is for the business: 'approve, reschedule, and message guests from your phone'. | [Booking page languages](https://bookodile.com/compare/bookodile-vs-gocheckin#languages) | **Yes** — The booking page, the embedded widget and every email about a booking come in 17 languages: English, Slovak, Czech, Vietnamese, German, Hungarian, Polish, Ukrainian, Spanish, Italian, French, Portuguese, Dutch, Romanian, Croatian, Slovenian and Chinese. Each location has a main language — English, Slovak, Czech or Vietnamese — and can add up to seven more, from the same list as its website. With more than one, the booking page shows a language switch and opens in the customer's own language when the location offers it (from the link, their last choice or their browser), otherwise in the main one. Every email and SMS about a booking goes out in the language it was made in; SMS in Ukrainian or Chinese go out in English, because they would not fit one SMS, while their emails and booking page stay in that language. Service names, descriptions, team bios and the location's other texts are translated automatically by AI, and the owner can correct any translation; names are never translated. The booking page's own wording in the 13 languages beyond English, Slovak, Czech and Vietnamese was written by AI and has not yet been read by a native speaker. What your customers read and what you read in the dashboard are separate settings. | **Partly** — The customer's booking page is in English, with no language switch. The only other language documented is a bilingual English–Vietnamese display in the staff-facing Go POS app. No other booking-page language is published. [source](https://booking.gocheckin.net/5154/appointment/book) |
| [Your business's time zone, shown correctly](https://bookodile.com/compare/bookodile-vs-gocheckin#timezones) | **Yes** — Every time is shown in the business's own zone, including on your dashboard. A customer in another zone sees both clocks before they confirm. Locations in different zones each keep their own; the group's combined monthly totals count on one clock. Each location writes its times on a 24-hour or a 12-hour clock (2:30 PM) — its country's until you pick one — on the booking page, in emails and SMS, on the website and in the dashboard alike. | **Partly** — Times on the booking page are shown with the business's zone — a store page labels a slot 'US Central'. Nothing is published about zones outside North America, and the phone field takes a ten-digit North American number. [source](https://booking.gocheckin.net/5154/appointment/book) |
| [Branding](https://bookodile.com/compare/bookodile-vs-gocheckin#branding) | **Partly** — Your own domain, at no cost: connect one you already own and your website moves to www.yourbusiness.com (the website row). The booking page its Book buttons open stays at bookodile.com/your-business, and the widget puts the same booking inside any other site you run, on that site's domain. Your logo, a second logo for dark backgrounds, a logo that links back to your own website, your brand colour with a contrast check, and announcements along the top of your booking page and your website. No custom CSS. | **Not published** — The hosted landing page takes a name, address, phone, hours, menu and photos. A logo, colours, custom CSS, a custom domain and removing the vendor's name are not documented. |
| [Dark mode on the booking page](https://bookodile.com/compare/bookodile-vs-gocheckin#dark-mode) | **Yes** — The hosted page follows the customer's device, and a sun-and-moon button lets them switch; My Bookings keeps the same choice. Your brand colour is adjusted to stay visible on dark. The embedded widget stays light on purpose, so it matches the website it sits in. | **Not published** — Not mentioned on any vendor page or in the help centre. |
| [Book buttons on Google, Instagram and Facebook](https://bookodile.com/compare/bookodile-vs-gocheckin#social-booking) | **No** — No Reserve with Google or Instagram integration. Your booking link, bookodile.com/your-business, goes in your Google profile, your bio or a post like any link. Campaign tracking, an included add-on, gives ready-tagged links for Google, Instagram, Facebook and TikTok and counts the bookings each one brings. | **Partly** — A 'Book Now' button 'on your Google profile and Facebook page' and 'syncs to Google + Facebook' are claimed on the product page. Reserve with Google is never named, the mechanism is not documented, and Instagram is not mentioned. [source](https://gocheckin.net/booking) |
| [Found on Google under your own name](https://bookodile.com/compare/bookodile-vs-gocheckin#search-visibility) | **Yes** — On from the start, once an automatic check of the business name passes — normally within minutes: your booking page is in the sitemap search engines read, under your business's name, with your own description and address as the snippet, and Bing and others are told when it changes. A published website is listed the same way at its own address, from its first online booking or two weeks after publishing. One switch keeps both out. Search engines still decide what to show and when. | **Extra cost** — Only through the website the vendor's agency, Fastboy Marketing, builds and sells separately ($599 or $899 one-time, see website): it is described as built for search — headings, meta tags, schema markup — and launches with Google Search Console set up. Nothing published says whether the Go Booking page on booking.gocheckin.net or the free Landing Page is listed in search results. ### [Running the business](https://bookodile.com/compare/bookodile-vs-gocheckin#group-operations)

| | Bookodile | GoCheckin |
|---|---|---|
| [An AI assistant that sets up and runs your account](https://bookodile.com/compare/bookodile-vs-gocheckin#ai-assistant) | **Yes** — AI Chat, in every account including the free one, with a daily allowance per account. Ask in English, Slovak, Czech or Vietnamese, typed or spoken: it answers how-to questions from this documentation and your own settings, explains why a day has no free times and who changed what; sets up team, services, prices, hours, rooms, booking rules, add-ons, logo and brand colour, and the order of your services and team; writes bios, your about text and service descriptions; builds and changes your website's draft and brings over the words of an old site; and moves, cancels or hands over bookings and blocks time, once or repeating. It shows every change first and waits for you to apply it, with Undo — only texts and the website's draft go in at once, still with Undo, and the website stays private until you publish. It answers you, not your customers, and does not create bookings. | **Partly** — What the vendor publishes about AI is its agency's AI Social Media Marketing, sold separately at $49, $199 or $399 a month or inside its 'AI Marketing 2026' bundle: AI writes captions, hashtags, images and short videos for Google Business Profile, Facebook, Instagram and the website, reviewed by the agency's team before posting. No AI assistant inside Go Booking, Go Check In or Go POS is published; the Review Assistant in Go Check In replies to reviews from saved templates and auto-replies, and no page calls it AI. [source](https://fastboy.com/services/social-media) (read 2026-10-17) |
| [Calendar](https://bookodile.com/compare/bookodile-vs-gocheckin#calendar) | **Yes** — Day, week and month. Drag a booking to a new time or a different person — the calendar names any clash first, and Undo puts it back for ten seconds after. Block out time for the business, one person or a resource — once, or repeating every day, on chosen weekdays, every two weeks or every month. Add a walk-in; filter by person, service or resource. A visit with several services moves as one — dragged, or from the booking dialog, which shows the times that fit everyone first and still takes any other day and time, listing what it clashes with. | **Yes** — Day, week and month views, drag and drop to reschedule with conflicts flagged in red, a calendar per team member with everyone's schedule in one view, colour by booking channel, blocked time slots, and print or export to PDF and CSV. A Go POS help article adds hiding inactive team members from the calendar. [source](https://gocheckin.net/booking) (read 2026-10-17) |
| [A native app for your team](https://bookodile.com/compare/bookodile-vs-gocheckin#staff-app) | **No** — No native app. The dashboard is a web app that installs to a phone's home screen and works there, online. No push notifications: the team is told about bookings by email. | **Yes** — GCI Business, on the App Store for iPhone and iPad, 'designed for business owners and stores, helping them easily manage income, bookings, and receive order notifications', for the vendor's clients only. Google Play lists it too, as 'A business app for Go Checkin', on the vendor's developer page in the United States store, though not in every country's. The booking product page promises a native app on iOS and Android to approve, reschedule and message customers from a phone. [source](https://apps.apple.com/us/app/gci-business/id1672487932) (read 2026-10-17) |
| [Several locations in one account](https://bookodile.com/compare/bookodile-vs-gocheckin#multi-location) | **Yes** — Up to 50 locations in one account — a guard against misuse, raised on request — each with its own team, hours, services and booking page. A new location can start from one you have — its services with prices, hours, booking rules, logo and colours and website — and takes the team members you pick. Customers are one list across them, a team member can work at several with one sign-in, and a group dashboard totals them. The free plan covers one location; each location is billed at a base rate. | **Partly** — Go POS lists 'multi-location support', and the vendor quotes a customer running Go Check In in four locations. Whether the check-in and booking products are priced per location, and how locations are grouped, is not published. [source](https://fastboy.com/services/go-pos) (read 2026-10-16) |
| [Roles and permissions](https://bookodile.com/compare/bookodile-vs-gocheckin#roles-permissions) | **Yes** — Owner, Manager, Employee and Receptionist ready-made, or build a role and set each permission by hand — including whether someone sees only their own bookings, customers and figures, takes bookings at all, can message customers, or manages billing, which only the owner can give. | **Partly** — Per-person permission toggles such as the cash drawer, staff codes, an admin passcode, passcodes for gift cards, promotions and customer look-up, and a one-time code to export or delete customers. No custom role builder is documented, and the toggles that are sit in the point of sale. [source](https://support.gocheckin.net/article/phan-quyn-permission-staff-code-khi-dung-cash-drawer-3) |
| [A history of who changed what](https://bookodile.com/compare/bookodile-vs-gocheckin#change-history) | **Yes** — Activity records changes to bookings, customers, services, resources, the team, time off, blocked time and settings: what changed from what to what, who did it — a team member by name, the customer, or automatic — how and when. Each role sees the history of what it can open, a booking's own history sits in the booking window with what the customer was sent, and it exports to CSV. Kept 24 months, in every account. Not recorded: what a role may do, prices set per team member or category, payment records, billing and add-on records such as vouchers; a note shows as edited, never its words. | **Not published** — Not published. What is documented is each customer's booking history, and on each appointment the text and send time of its scheduled and confirmation texts; neither says who changed a booking, a customer or a setting. |
| [Reports](https://bookodile.com/compare/bookodile-vs-gocheckin#reports) | **Yes** — Revenue, bookings, average value and cancellation rate over the last twelve months, charted month by month, with bookings by status, new customers, top services and the team ranked by revenue; per location or across all. A no-show counts as a booking, never as revenue. Website visits shows who came to your website, from where, and how many booked. Forecasting, revenue split, booking sources and payments received are included add-ons. The period is fixed at twelve months. | **Yes** — Go Booking reports 'utilization, no-shows, channel ROI, and lifetime value'; Go Check In reports daily visits, retention, campaign open rates, review performance and loyalty engagement; Go POS adds income per team member and payroll. No forecast is published. [source](https://gocheckin.net/booking) |
| [A leaderboard for the team](https://bookodile.com/compare/bookodile-vs-gocheckin#team-leaderboard) | **Yes** — A monthly competition on bookings or revenue that the whole team sees, with a winner per category if you want one, results frozen and emailed on the 1st, and a Hall of fame. Revenue amounts stay hidden from the team unless you show them. Up to three at once, per location. An included add-on. | **Partly** — Go POS, a separate subscription, offers performance reports by team member to 'see who's bringing in the most revenue', and lists 'Staff Rating' on every plan. It is written for the owner; nothing says team members see a ranking. [source](https://fastboy.com/services/go-pos) (read 2026-10-16) |
| [Point of sale, stock and payroll](https://bookodile.com/compare/bookodile-vs-gocheckin#pos-inventory-payroll) | **No** — No point of sale, no stock, no payroll — a walk-in is a booking. The included payment-tracking add-on records what each visit was paid, by cash, card or transfer, with part-payments and tips shared between the people who did the work, and Revenue split works out each team member's share at the percentage you set, month by month. | **Extra cost** — Go POS is a separate subscription at $50, $99 or $149 a month by team size — five, twenty or unlimited — plus a $200 setup fee: payment at the till by cash, card, contactless, digital wallet or QR code, split bills, discounts and tips, inventory with low-stock alerts and suppliers, staff hours and shifts, and a turn suggestion. Payroll and time keeping are listed on every plan. Each extra device is $25 a month. [source](https://fastboy.com/services/go-pos) (read 2026-10-16) |
| [Confirmations and reminders](https://bookodile.com/compare/bookodile-vs-gocheckin#reminders) | **Yes** — Confirmations, a reminder the day before at 8:00, two hours before or both — your choice — changes, cancellations and follow-ups by email, all included, in the language the customer booked in. By SMS too with the SMS messages add-on: the add-on is free, and SMS need a paid plan — billed monthly with it, per SMS, capped each month. SMS reach numbers in 14 countries today; Czechia, the US and Canada are coming soon. | **Partly** — A confirmation by text and email at booking, then reminders 24 hours and one hour before — the fastboy.com page says two hours — drawn from the plan's monthly quota of 1,000, 2,000 or unlimited texts. Extra texts cost $62.50 per 2,500, $100 per 5,000 or $180 per 10,000. [source](https://gocheckin.net/booking) (read 2026-10-16) |
| [Messages with one customer, in one inbox](https://bookodile.com/compare/bookodile-vs-gocheckin#customer-messages) | **Yes** — Messages, in every account: write to one customer from the calendar or their page by email, SMS or both, and read their answer in one inbox, with unread ones marked and the team told by email. Email is included; SMS need the SMS messages add-on on a paid plan, billed per SMS — Czech, US and Canadian numbers coming soon. The customer answers on a page the message links to, not by replying to the email or text, and cannot start a conversation. No WhatsApp. | **Partly** — The product page says the GCI Business app lets staff 'approve, reschedule, and message guests from your phone'. Whether a customer's answer comes back into GoCheckin, by which channel and in one inbox, is not published; the help centre documents only a record of each appointment's automatic texts. [source](https://gocheckin.net/booking) (read 2026-10-16) |
| [Email and text campaigns](https://bookodile.com/compare/bookodile-vs-gocheckin#marketing-campaigns) | **Partly** — No bulk email or SMS campaigns. Included add-ons instead: a win-back sequence of up to three emails to customers overdue for a visit, judged by their own usual gap, never to anyone with a booking ahead and starting over after their next visit, the later ones with a one-time discount code; promotions and announcements on your booking page and your website, an announcement optionally kept on the booking page for customers who have booked before; and Campaign tracking, which shows which ads and links bring bookings. | **Extra cost** — Campaigns live in Go Check In, a separate subscription from the booking product: segments (VIP, new, regular, at risk), automatic return reminders after 30, 60 and 90 days, birthday texts and promotions. The Basic plan at $59 lists birthday, return-reminder and promotion texts without stating a quota; Standard at $99 includes 5,000 emails and 2,000 texts for promotions, Advanced 10,000 and 5,000; beyond that, bundles. [source](https://gocheckin.net/#pricing) (read 2026-10-16) |
| [Reviews](https://bookodile.com/compare/bookodile-vs-gocheckin#reviews) | **Yes** — Collect a rating and comment after each visit, publish them on your booking page and website when you choose — all of them, never hand-picked — reply in public or privately, and ask every customer, not only the happy ones, for a Google review in the same email. | **Extra cost** — In Go Check In, a separate subscription from the booking product: after a visit a text survey asks how it went, happy customers are guided to Google and bad reviews are 'handled privately'; a Review Assistant holds reply templates, auto-replies to Google reviews and alerts on a bad one. Every plan lists text surveys inviting Google or Facebook reviews and the Review Assistant; Basic states no quota, Standard includes 5,000 emails and 2,000 texts for the Review Assistant, Advanced 10,000 and 5,000. [source](https://gocheckin.net) (read 2026-10-16) |
| [Gift vouchers, discount codes and promotions](https://bookodile.com/compare/bookodile-vs-gocheckin#vouchers-discounts) | **Partly** — Gift vouchers, discount codes, promotions and upsell discounts, all included. No packages or memberships, and vouchers are issued by you rather than sold online. | **Partly** — Loyalty points that customers earn and exchange for rewards on every Go Check In plan, and promotion texts by customer segment. Gift cards are redeemed in Go POS, and fastboy.com lists the gift-card programme itself as 'Coming Soon'. Discount codes, packages and memberships are not documented. [source](https://gocheckin.net/#pricing) (read 2026-10-16) |
| [Google or Outlook calendar sync](https://bookodile.com/compare/bookodile-vs-gocheckin#calendar-sync) | **Partly** — Bookings are pushed into one Google Calendar per location as they are made, moved or cancelled. One direction only — Google events do not block your availability — not one calendar per team member, and no Outlook sync. Customers can add their own booking to Google, Outlook or Apple Calendar. | **Not published** — No Google, Outlook or iCal sync for the business is documented. Nothing on the product page or in the help centre mentions it. |
| [Intake and consent forms](https://bookodile.com/compare/bookodile-vs-gocheckin#forms) | **Partly** — A consent checkbox in your own wording, with a link to your privacy policy — each customer's agreement is recorded with the date and the wording they saw — invoice details that can be optional or required, and a notes field. No custom intake forms or questions, and no e-signatures. | **Not published** — No intake or consent form, custom field or e-signature is documented on any vendor page. |
| [Your data: export, import, API](https://bookodile.com/compare/bookodile-vs-gocheckin#data-portability) | **Partly** — Export bookings, customers and the activity log to CSV whenever you like. No import tool yet — customers from another tool are added one at a time or as they book — and no public API. | **Partly** — Appointments export from the month view, the calendar prints or exports to PDF and CSV, and the customer list exports behind a one-time code. No import from another tool, no public API and no webhooks are documented. [source](https://support.gocheckin.net/article/export-appointment-in-month-view) |
| [Support](https://bookodile.com/compare/bookodile-vs-gocheckin#support) | **Yes** — Email support, included, with the documentation at bookodile.com/docs behind it, and AI Chat in the dashboard, which answers how-to questions from that documentation and from your own settings. A new business is walked through its setup in AI Chat right after signing up — its services, texts and website — at no cost. No phone line, and no chat with a person. | **Yes** — Phone and email, 9am to 6pm Central on weekdays and 10am to 4pm on Saturday, with a stated reply 'within 24 hours'; a help centre of short articles and video tutorials, both mostly in Vietnamese. Onboarding is the $100 setup fee; no migration service is mentioned. [source](https://fastboy.com/contact) |

## [Where GoCheckin is stronger](https://bookodile.com/compare/bookodile-vs-gocheckin#strengths)

- **[A check-in kiosk for people who walk in](https://bookodile.com/compare/bookodile-vs-gocheckin#strength-a-check-in-kiosk-for-people-who-walk-in)** — Go Check In is a tablet or kiosk at the door: customers check in by phone number or a QR code, a ticket prints, and the visit feeds the rewards programme and the review requests — with the vendor's own check-in device and a ticket printer sold separately. Bookodile has no kiosk; a walk-in is a booking your team adds from the calendar.
- **[Review requests by text, with bad reviews kept private](https://bookodile.com/compare/bookodile-vs-gocheckin#strength-review-requests-by-text-with-bad-reviews-kept-private)** — After a visit a text survey asks how it went; happy customers are sent to Google, unhappy ones are handled privately, and a Review Assistant auto-replies to Google reviews and alerts you to a bad one. Bookodile asks for a review by email after each visit, publishes reviews on your booking page and website when you choose — all of them, never hand-picked — lets you reply in public or privately, and asks every customer, not only the happy ones, for a Google review in the same email — it does not post to Google for you.
- **[Deposits, cards on file and cancellation fees](https://bookodile.com/compare/bookodile-vs-gocheckin#strength-deposits-cards-on-file-and-cancellation-fees)** — Go Booking takes a deposit or full payment at booking through Stripe or Bamboo Pay, keeps the card, and lets the owner charge a no-show or refund from the dashboard. Bookodile does not process payments or hold a card; it records what you were paid.
- **[Text marketing and a point of sale, from one vendor](https://bookodile.com/compare/bookodile-vs-gocheckin#strength-text-marketing-and-a-point-of-sale-from-one-vendor)** — Automatic return reminders after 30, 60 and 90 days, birthday texts and promotions by segment on a US and Canadian short code, plus Go POS with payroll, inventory, turn suggestions, tips and gift-card redemption. Bookodile has no text campaigns and no point of sale; its automated win-back sequence goes by email, promotions appear on the booking page, and a walk-in is a booking.
- **[A native app for the team, and a Vietnamese-speaking vendor](https://bookodile.com/compare/bookodile-vs-gocheckin#strength-a-native-app-for-the-team-and-a-vietnamese-speaking-vendor)** — GCI Business is a native iOS and Android app for approving, rescheduling and messaging, and the help centre, tutorials and point-of-sale display are in Vietnamese as well as English. Bookodile's dashboard is a web app that installs to a phone's home screen; its booking page and dashboard are available in Vietnamese, and its documentation is English only.

## Notes for anyone selling Bookodile

These are the claims not to make against GoCheckin, because they are not true:

- Do not say GoCheckin cannot put several services, or two team members, into one booking. Its help centre has three articles on the booking product and none describes it — undocumented, not absent.
- Do not say it has no rooms or equipment as resources, no classes, no buffer time, and no price or duration per team member. None of these is published either way; its product page even lists 'multi-resource' in a section written for hotels and restaurants.
- Do not say it has no waiting list. Go Check In is a walk-in queue the vendor calls 'a digital waitlist', and Go Booking's page lists 'waitlist SMS' for restaurants without describing it. What is not published is an automatic offer of a cancelled appointment.
- Do not say GoCheckin has no consumer directory. Its GCI Rewards app, in the United States Google Play store since September 2026, lets customers discover nearby businesses on a map and book them; what is not published is whether every business on its software is listed there, or where else the app is offered.
- Do not say it lacks calendar sync, intake forms, branding controls or a dark booking page. Not published, which is not the same as missing.
- Do not quote a card-processing rate. None is published on any vendor page; deposits go through Stripe or Bamboo Pay at rates GoCheckin does not state.
- Do not say it charges a commission or has no trial. It says 'no per-booking fees', and its pages offer a trial of 14 or 30 days depending on which page you read.
- Do not repeat a software directory's line that GoCheckin has a free version. Its own pricing pages list none; say that and stop.
- Do not claim Bookodile is cheaper for a team of five without checking the pricing page. Go Booking's Basic plan covers five team members for $20 a month plus a $100 setup fee.
- Do not say it is unavailable outside the United States. Its prices are in US dollars only and its booking page validates a North American phone number, but the vendor says it serves Canada, Australia and Europe.
- Do not repeat anything about the vendor or its founder from review sites, forums or petitions, and do not quote app-store ratings or reviews as facts about the product. Nothing on this page comes from them.
- Do not say GoCheckin keeps no history of changes, that its messages to a customer are one-way, that it has no AI assistant in the product, or that its booking page cannot be found on Google. None of these is published either way; what is published is a separately sold website, SEO service and AI social-media service from the vendor's agency.

## [Common questions](https://bookodile.com/compare/bookodile-vs-gocheckin#faq)

**[Is GoCheckin free?](https://bookodile.com/compare/bookodile-vs-gocheckin#faq-is-gocheckin-free)**

No. Its own pages list no free plan: Go Booking starts at $20 a month for up to five team members plus a $100 setup fee, and Go Check In at $59 a month plus $100. Both are offered on a trial — 14 days on gocheckin.net, 30 on fastboy.com. Bookodile is free at one location with up to two active booking spots and 40 bookings a month, every add-on included — SMS aside, which need a paid plan — and stays free.

GoCheckin exports its customer list behind a one-time code and appointments from the month view. Bookodile does not yet import either. Customers are created the first time they book, so your list rebuilds as regulars return, and your team can add anyone by hand. Run the two calendars side by side until the GoCheckin one empties, then switch the link.

No. Bookodile does not process payments, take deposits or hold a card. Payment stays between you and your customer, however you handle it today, and the payment-tracking add-on records what arrived. If a deposit is what stops your no-shows, that is a real difference: Bookodile records a no-show on the customer rather than charging one.

**[Which languages can my customers book in?](https://bookodile.com/compare/bookodile-vs-gocheckin#faq-which-languages-can-my-customers-book-in)**

GoCheckin's booking page is in English, with no language switch; the bilingual English–Vietnamese display it documents is in the staff point-of-sale app. Bookodile's booking page comes in 17 languages, Vietnamese among them: each location has a main language and can add up to seven more, which customers switch between on the page, separately from the language you read your dashboard in. Its wording in the 13 beyond English, Slovak, Czech and Vietnamese was written by AI and has not yet been read by a native speaker.

**[What replaces the check-in tablet and the review texts?](https://bookodile.com/compare/bookodile-vs-gocheckin#faq-what-replaces-the-check-in-tablet-and-the-review-texts)**

Nothing directly. Bookodile has no kiosk and no text campaigns: a walk-in is a booking your team adds from the calendar, and a review is requested by email after each visit, with a Google-review ask in the same message. If most of your customers walk in without booking and you want them checked in at the door, Go Check In does something Bookodile does not.

**[How does the price compare for a team of five?](https://bookodile.com/compare/bookodile-vs-gocheckin#faq-how-does-the-price-compare-for-a-team-of-five)**

On GoCheckin, Go Booking's Basic plan covers five team members for $20 a month plus a $100 setup fee, and Go Check In is a separate $59 a month plus $100 if you want the kiosk. On Bookodile the bill is per location plus per booking spot that took a booking that month, plus any SMS you send, and five people are five spots only if all five work at the same time; the figure for your country is on the pricing page.

## Who GoCheckin is for

GoCheckin is built around the door, not the calendar. Its flagship, Go Check
In, is a tablet where a walk-in customer checks in by phone number or QR code;
a ticket prints, and the visit feeds a text survey, a Google-review request and
a text database the vendor puts at more than thirty million members. Online booking is a second product, Go Booking, sold and
priced separately, and a point of sale with payroll is a third. The vendor,
Fastboy Marketing of Houston, is a marketing agency first — websites, search
and ads — with software as a product line, and its help centre and tutorials
are largely in Vietnamese. Everything is priced in US dollars, and its text
short codes are for the United States and Canada.

Bookodile is a booking system, with a website built from it, and nothing
else. It is for a business whose customers book ahead, where the people are
priced or timed differently, where a room or a piece of equipment limits what
can be taken, and where one visit can involve two people. Those rows are
where the two products differ most — and the check-in kiosk is where
GoCheckin does something Bookodile does not attempt.

## The pricing model, in practice

GoCheckin is three subscriptions. Go Check In is $59, $99 or $199 a month, the
tiers differing by how many emails and texts the plan includes for birthday
messages, return reminders, promotions and review requests — Basic lists all
four without stating a quota — plus a $100 setup fee. Go Booking is $20, $40
or $99 a month by team size — five, twenty or unlimited — with extra team
members at $10 per block of five, reminder texts capped at 1,000 or 2,000 a
month on the two lower tiers, and its own $100 setup fee. Go POS is $50, $99 or
$149 a month by team size plus $200 to set up. Texts beyond a quota are sold in
bundles. The vendor also sells an "AI Marketing 2026" bundle at $349 a month
that includes Go Check In Standard and Go Booking Deluxe beside its agency's
AI social media, website and SEO. There is no free plan; there is a trial, of
14 days or 30 depending on which of the vendor's pages you read.

In the table on this page, "extra cost" means outside Go Booking's Basic plan
— a higher tier, or one of the other two products.

Bookodile charges per location plus per booking spot that actually took a
booking that month, in country bands. A spot is one appointment you can run at
the same time as another, so it follows your rooms and equipment rather than
your headcount, and anyone who takes no bookings costs nothing. Every add-on is
included — SMS, with the SMS messages add-on on a paid plan, are the one thing
billed by use, per SMS and capped each month — there is no setup fee, and one
location with up to two active spots and 40 bookings a month is free. The figures for your country are on
[the pricing page](/pricing) and the model is explained in
[What Bookodile costs](/docs/what-bookodile-costs).

Be honest about what you are comparing. If your customers mostly walk in and
you want them checked in at the door, Go Check In is a kiosk and Bookodile is
not; the booking product is the part of GoCheckin this page compares.

## Two services, two people

Read what GoCheckin publishes here, because it is short. The help centre's Go
Booking topic holds three articles — taking a deposit, exporting a month of
appointments, and copying an appointment to a new date. The product page says
"per-staff calendars, services with durations" and "auto-assign staff", and
the vendor's own site says customers can book with the team member they
prefer. None of it says whether a customer can put two services into one
booking, whether those services can go to two different people, whether they
run back to back, or how each person's time is blocked when they do. This page
does not guess.

In Bookodile the same thing is a combo service: one stage with one person and
a second with another, as parts of one booking. Each stage carries its own
team member, its own duration and its own room if it needs one, and each
person is blocked only for their stage. The customer books once and receives
one confirmation.

## Switching from GoCheckin

- **Customers.** GoCheckin exports its customer list behind a one-time code.
Bookodile has no import tool yet; customers are created the first time they
book, and your team can add anyone by hand.
- **Bookings.** GoCheckin exports appointments from the month view, to PDF or
CSV. Bookodile does not import bookings; run the two side by side until the
old calendar empties, then switch the link.
- **Your booking link.** The GoCheckin page sits on booking.gocheckin.net
under a store number, or on its hosted landing page. Every place that link
lives — Google profile, Facebook page, website — gets the new one.
Bookodile generates a QR code for print. In place of the landing page,
Bookodile builds a website from your booking setup, included, at
yourname.bookodile.com or on a domain you already own.
- **Google and Facebook buttons.** GoCheckin says its Book Now button sits on
  your Google profile and Facebook page. Bookodile has no such integration;
your Google profile carries the booking link as its appointment link.
- **The kiosk and the texts.** There is no equivalent. A walk-in becomes a
booking your team adds from the calendar, reviews are requested by email
after the visit, and the win-back sequence for customers who drift away
  goes by email too.
- **Deposits and the point of sale.** If you take deposits through Go Booking
or ring up sales in Go POS, you will need a separate way to do both.
Bookodile records payments; it does not take them.

## Where each one fits

Choose GoCheckin if your customers walk in and you want a kiosk at the door,
if review requests and win-back messages by text are what fill your week, if
you want deposits and a card on file at booking, or if you want a point of
sale with payroll from the same vendor — and your business, your customers and
their phone numbers are in North America.

Choose Bookodile if your customers book ahead in Vietnamese, English or another
of its 17 languages, if your people are priced or timed differently, if a room or a piece
of equipment limits what you can take, if one visit can involve two people, if
you want a waiting list that offers a cancellation by itself, or if you want
one bill with no setup fee and no bundles, a website included.
