# Bookodile vs Wix Bookings

> Wix Bookings is the scheduling app inside the Wix website builder: your booking pages are pages of your site, and the price is the site plan that unlocks them. Bookodile is a booking system that builds your website from your booking setup — free at one location with every feature but SMS, then billed per location and per booking spot.

## [Bookodile or Wix Bookings: what matters most](https://bookodile.com/compare/bookodile-vs-wix-bookings#game-changers)

| Bookodile | Wix Bookings |
|---|---|
| **[A free plan, not a trial — with every feature](https://bookodile.com/compare/bookodile-vs-wix-bookings#game-changer-every-feature-on-a-free-account)** — Start free and stay free: one location, two booking spots, 40 bookings a month, and every feature and add-on, the website and AI Chat included. Only SMS need a paid plan, because each one is billed. | **No** ([A free plan that stays free](https://bookodile.com/compare/bookodile-vs-wix-bookings#free-tier)) — A free Wix site can list services but not take a booking; the first plan that can is Core. |
| **[A website you build with AI — on your own domain, free](https://bookodile.com/compare/bookodile-vs-wix-bookings#game-changer-a-website-you-build-by-asking)** — Tell AI Chat what you want and it builds your website with you. The first draft comes in moments, made from your services, prices, team, hours and reviews, in a design you choose. Then just say what to change: “make it feel warmer”, “bring over the words from my old site”, “rewrite our About text”. Photo galleries sort into categories you name, and a category linked to a service gets its own Book button. Prices and opening hours stay in step with your bookings. Your own domain connects at no cost, and nothing goes public until you publish. | **Yes** ([A website for your business](https://bookodile.com/compare/bookodile-vs-wix-bookings#website)) — Wix is a website builder: drag-and-drop with 2,000+ templates, and in its newer Harmony editor Aria edits the site in chat, on desktop (older Wix sites can't move to it yet); your own domain needs a paid plan. |
| **[AI Chat — an AI assistant that helps with everything you need](https://bookodile.com/compare/bookodile-vs-wix-bookings#game-changer-an-assistant-that-does-the-administration)** — Ask in your own words, typed or spoken, and AI Chat does the work. It sets up services, prices, the team and opening hours. It writes your bios and service descriptions and builds your website. It blocks out a holiday and hands those bookings to a colleague, moves bookings, and tells you what tomorrow holds and who changed what. Every change comes with Undo, in every account, the free one included. | **Yes** ([An AI assistant that sets up and runs your account](https://bookodile.com/compare/bookodile-vs-wix-bookings#ai-assistant)) — Aria answers, completes tasks and edits your site in chat at no extra cost; no help page lists a booking task (services, hours or bookings) among them. |
| **[Two people, one visit — each blocked only for their part](https://bookodile.com/compare/bookodile-vs-wix-bookings#game-changer-two-people-one-visit)** — A visit can give each part its own team member, time and room, back to back. Each person is blocked only for their own part, and your team moves the whole visit in one step. | **Partly** ([Back-to-back services with different team members](https://bookodile.com/compare/bookodile-vs-wix-bookings#multi-staff-sequential)) — A team member per service, one after another; how each person's time is blocked is not stated. |

## [What Wix Bookings charges](https://bookodile.com/compare/bookodile-vs-wix-bookings#pricing)

Wix Bookings has no price of its own — you pay for the Wix site plan that unlocks it, one plan per site. A free site can show services but cannot take a booking; the first plan that can is Core, which is also the first plan that accepts payments. Every team member who signs in to the dashboard uses one of the plan's site-collaborator seats — 2 on Light, 5 on Core, 10 on Business, 100 on Business Elite — so the plan sets how many people can manage their own calendar. Text messages are metered per plan (0, 50, 100 and 250 a month) with larger bundles sold separately at prices the help centre does not print. The displayed prices are for a year paid in full at purchase, other periods exist, and a plan renews automatically for the same period at the full, non-promotional price. There is no free trial of a paid plan; a new plan carries a 14-day money-back guarantee, renewals do not. The plans page renders prices for the visitor's region and we could not read a euro or pound figure from it — and the page's own copy is inconsistent, saying its dollar prices are for reference only and exclude tax while some price cards carry a tax-included label — so read the plans page from your own country before you decide.

| Plan | Price | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Free site | $0 | No card required. Services can be shown but not booked |
| Light | By region, on the plans page | No scheduling and no payments; 2 collaborator seats; no text messages |
| Core | By region, on the plans page | The first plan that takes bookings and payments; 5 collaborator seats; 50 text messages a month |
| Business | By region, on the plans page | Bookings and payments; 10 collaborator seats; 100 text messages a month |
| Business Elite | By region, on the plans page | Bookings and payments; 100 collaborator seats; 250 text messages a month; developer platform |

## What Bookodile charges

A base rate per location plus a rate per booking spot that actually took a booking that month, in country bands. Every feature and add-on is included at every price, there is no commission, and it is free at one location with up to two active spots and 40 bookings a month. The one thing billed by use is SMS: they need a paid plan and are billed per SMS on its invoice, capped each month. The figures live on one page so they cannot drift: https://bookodile.com/pricing — and the model is explained at https://bookodile.com/docs/what-bookodile-costs.

## [Why businesses switch from Wix Bookings](https://bookodile.com/compare/bookodile-vs-wix-bookings#why-switch)

- **[Your team is capped by the website plan, not by the work](https://bookodile.com/compare/bookodile-vs-wix-bookings#reason-your-team-is-capped-by-the-website-plan-not-by-the-work)** — In Wix every team member who signs in to manage their own calendar takes a site-collaborator seat — five on Core, ten on Business, a hundred on Business Elite — so the plan decides how many people can run their own schedule. Bookodile has no seats. Any number of people can have an account and a role, the bill counts each location and the booking spots that took a booking that month, and someone who takes no bookings costs nothing.
- **[Taking a booking does not need a paid plan](https://bookodile.com/compare/bookodile-vs-wix-bookings#reason-taking-a-booking-does-not-need-a-paid-plan)** — A free Wix site can show services but not take a booking; the first plan that can is Core, priced per site and shown as a year paid in full, with no trial of it. Bookodile is free at one location with up to two active booking spots and 40 bookings a month, every add-on included — SMS aside, which need a paid plan — and a paid account starts with a 14-day trial rather than a charge. The free account has a website too, and a domain you already own connects to it at no cost — on Wix, a free site runs on a Wix address and your own domain needs a Premium plan.
- **[A room or a machine can be booked in its own right](https://bookodile.com/compare/bookodile-vs-wix-bookings#reason-a-room-or-a-machine-can-be-booked-in-its-own-right)** — Wix resources are invisible to customers, are available around the clock with hours that cannot be edited, do not affect classes, and an appointment cannot be booked without a team member — the help centre's workaround is a placeholder staff profile. In Bookodile rooms and equipment have a capacity and their own hours, a service can need a resource alone, a person alone or both, and the capacity is enforced when the booking is made.
- **[A cancelled time is offered automatically, for appointments too](https://bookodile.com/compare/bookodile-vs-wix-bookings#reason-the-waiting-list-runs-itself-for-appointments-too-with-no-app)** — Wix's automatic waiting list is for classes, and customers can only join it through a Wix mobile app; for appointments the list is kept by hand with no notification, and Wix suggests a third-party app. On Bookodile your team adds customers to the waiting list — they cannot join it from the booking page — and when a booking is cancelled, the time is offered automatically by email to whoever has waited longest for that service, with three hours to confirm. They confirm from the email, with no account and no app.
- **[A price and a duration per person](https://bookodile.com/compare/bookodile-vs-wix-bookings#reason-a-price-and-a-duration-per-person)** — Wix documents a different price per team member through 'Varied prices'; it does not describe a different duration per person. Bookodile can price a service per team member or per category, such as Junior and Senior, and time it per team member; the customer sees each person's price as they choose who.
- **[Two people, one visit, each blocked for their own part](https://bookodile.com/compare/bookodile-vs-wix-bookings#reason-two-people-one-visit-each-blocked-for-their-own-part)** — Wix lets a customer pick a team member per service in a multi-service appointment, but processing time is not possible, and its help centre does not say how each person's time is blocked. A Bookodile combo gives each stage its own team member, duration and room, back to back, and each person is blocked only for their own stage.

## [Feature by feature](https://bookodile.com/compare/bookodile-vs-wix-bookings#features)

### [Pricing](https://bookodile.com/compare/bookodile-vs-wix-bookings#group-pricing)

| | Bookodile | Wix Bookings |
|---|---|---|
| [A free plan that stays free](https://bookodile.com/compare/bookodile-vs-wix-bookings#free-tier) | **Yes** — Free at one location with up to two active booking spots and 40 bookings a month, with every feature and add-on — SMS aside, which need a paid plan. Not a trial — a plan a small business stays on. A paid plan starts with 14 days free rather than a charge. | **No** — A free Wix site can list services but not take a booking — the help centre says the site must be upgraded to accept bookings. The first plan that does is Core. [source](https://support.wix.com/en/article/wix-bookings-about-wix-bookings) |
| [No commission on bookings](https://bookodile.com/compare/bookodile-vs-wix-bookings#no-commission) | **Yes** — No commission, no new-client fee, no per-booking charge. The bill is the subscription, plus any SMS you send with the SMS messages add-on, billed per SMS and capped each month. | **Yes** — No per-booking fee on the plans page or in the fee schedule, and no Wix marketplace to take a cut. Card processing through Wix Payments is charged per transaction at its published rate. [source](https://support.wix.com/en/article/wix-payments-service-fees) |
| [Every feature included](https://bookodile.com/compare/bookodile-vs-wix-bookings#everything-included) | **Partly** — Every feature and add-on is included — reminders, reviews, vouchers, the waiting list, forecasting, Messages, AI Chat and the website with your own domain. The one thing billed by use is SMS: the SMS messages add-on is free, and each SMS is billed monthly with a paid plan at a price per country, never more a month than a cap that starts at the plan's own price. Each location is billed at a base rate. | **Partly** — The site plan carries most of it. Sold separately: text messages beyond the plan's monthly quota, the Branded App subscription plus the app-store fees, and the App Market apps Wix points to for an automatic appointment waiting list and custom text campaigns. The free domain covers the first year only. [source](https://support.wix.com/en/article/wix-sms-your-sms-quota) |
| [The same features on every plan](https://bookodile.com/compare/bookodile-vs-wix-bookings#no-plan-gating) | **Partly** — One plan, with free limits: every account, including a free one, has every feature and add-on. The one exception is SMS, which need a paid plan, because each one is billed on its invoice. | **No** — Light has no scheduling and cannot accept payments. Core, Business and Business Elite differ in collaborator seats (5, 10, 100), monthly text messages (50, 100, 250), storage and marketing suite, and the developer platform is Business Elite only. How many resources a site can have depends on the plan, with no numbers published. [source](https://www.wix.com/plans) |
| [No minimum term or cancellation fee](https://bookodile.com/compare/bookodile-vs-wix-bookings#no-contract) | **Yes** — Monthly, no minimum term, no cancellation fee. There is no yearly plan. | **Partly** — The displayed price is a yearly subscription paid in full at purchase; other periods exist. A plan renews automatically for the same period at the full price, without the first-period discount. No cancellation fee is listed; a new plan carries a 14-day money-back guarantee, a renewal does not. [source](https://www.wix.com/about/terms-of-use) |
| [Processes your customers' card payments](https://bookodile.com/compare/bookodile-vs-wix-bookings#payment-processing) | **No** — Bookodile does not take your customers' money. The payment-tracking add-on records what you were paid; payment stays between you and the customer. | **Yes** — Wix Payments, its own processor, in 15 countries — 2.9% + $0.30 in the US, 1.9% + €0.30 in the EU countries it covers, 2.1% + £0.20 in the UK, chargebacks 15 in local currency. Elsewhere, including Slovakia, Czechia and Vietnam, a business connects Stripe, PayPal or another listed provider. [source](https://support.wix.com/en/article/wix-payments-service-fees) |

### [Taking bookings](https://bookodile.com/compare/bookodile-vs-wix-bookings#group-booking)

| | Bookodile | Wix Bookings |
|---|---|---|
| [A hosted booking page](https://bookodile.com/compare/bookodile-vs-wix-bookings#hosted-booking-page) | **Yes** — bookodile.com/your-business, with your logo, colour, services — each with its photo, when you add one — and hours. One page per location. | **Yes** — Bookings adds six pages to the Wix site — service list, service page, calendar, booking form, checkout and thank-you — with shareable links to the service list, the calendar and each service. While the site is unpublished, Wix serves a working mini-site in its place. [source](https://support.wix.com/en/article/about-wix-bookings-pages) |
| [Booking on your own website](https://bookodile.com/compare/bookodile-vs-wix-bookings#embed-widget) | **Yes** — One snippet embeds the whole flow in any site — WordPress, Wix, Squarespace or hand-built — inline or behind a Book-now button in your brand colour. A QR code is generated for print. | **Not published** — The booking elements — service list, Book button, weekly timetable, daily agenda and next-availability widget — are placed on pages of the Wix site itself. No help-centre article describes embedding Wix Bookings in a website that is not built on Wix. |
| [Customers book without an account or an app](https://bookodile.com/compare/bookodile-vs-wix-bookings#guest-booking) | **Yes** — The customer gives only the details you require — a name, and an email, a phone number or both. No account, no app, no password. My Bookings, a web page they sign in to with an emailed code or Google, shows every booking they hold, if they want it. | **Yes** — Customers book without a site account: the help centre distinguishes members from non-members, who manage a booking through the personal link in their email. An email address is always required; booking without one is an open feature request. [source](https://support.wix.com/en/article/wix-bookings-allowing-clients-to-cancel-or-reschedule-sessions) |
| [Several services in one booking](https://bookodile.com/compare/bookodile-vs-wix-bookings#multi-service-booking) | **Partly** — Combo services chain stages into one booking, and the extras you configure are offered during booking, in more than one round. Customers do not pick arbitrary pairs from the catalogue — you decide which combinations exist. | **Partly** — Up to five services in one multi-service appointment via '+ Add Service', on the same date and at the same location. Needs a paid plan, works on the web but not in any Wix mobile app, uses only the default booking form, cannot repeat, and the customer can only cancel the whole booking. [source](https://support.wix.com/en/article/wix-bookings-scheduling-and-managing-multi-service-appointments) |
| [Back-to-back services with different team members](https://bookodile.com/compare/bookodile-vs-wix-bookings#multi-staff-sequential) | **Yes** — Each stage of a combo can have its own team member, its own duration and its own room, booked back to back. Each person is blocked only for their own stage, never for the whole visit. Staff move the whole visit in one step, with the times that fit every person in it shown first. | **Partly** — The customer can pick a team member per service, the sessions appear one after another in the calendar, and times are offered only when every service is available. Processing time is not possible, a booking cannot be limited to one person for every service, and simultaneous sessions can only be created by the business. The article does not state how each person's time is blocked. [source](https://support.wix.com/en/article/wix-bookings-scheduling-and-managing-multi-service-appointments) |
| [Rooms, chairs and equipment as bookable resources](https://bookodile.com/compare/bookodile-vs-wix-bookings#resources) | **Yes** — Rooms, chairs and equipment with a capacity and their own hours. A service can need a resource alone, a person alone, or both, and capacity is enforced when the booking is made. A service linked to several takes whichever one is free; a booking never holds two at once. Each one is open to anyone who does its services, or kept for named people when it belongs to them — three juniors share a chair while the master has his own. | **Partly** — Rooms and equipment are resource types that must be free for an appointment to be booked, but they are invisible to customers, are available around the clock with hours that cannot be edited, and do not affect availability for classes or courses. An appointment cannot be booked without a team member; the help centre's workaround is a placeholder staff profile. A capacity above one per resource is not described. [source](https://support.wix.com/en/article/wix-bookings-managing-your-resources) |
| [Classes and events with a capacity](https://bookodile.com/compare/bookodile-vs-wix-bookings#group-classes) | **Yes** — Events with a capacity and a registration list for one-off things; a recurring class is a service on a resource with a capacity, so it fills up and stops. | **Yes** — Classes repeat on a schedule with a maximum number of participants; courses are a fixed set of dated sessions with a maximum, optionally bookable after they start. A customer can book several places at once in a class or course, but not in an appointment. [source](https://support.wix.com/en/article/setting-availability-for-classes-in-wix-bookings) |
| [A different price per team member](https://bookodile.com/compare/bookodile-vs-wix-bookings#per-staff-pricing) | **Yes** — A service can be priced per team member, or per category such as Junior and Senior. The customer sees each person's price as they choose who, and the category's name too if you show it. | **Yes** — 'Varied prices' lets an appointment cost a different amount depending on the team member. The help centre warns that customers cannot reschedule a session paid at a varied price. [source](https://support.wix.com/en/article/wix-bookings-understanding-price-options) |
| [A different duration per team member](https://bookodile.com/compare/bookodile-vs-wix-bookings#per-staff-duration) | **Yes** — A service can take a different time per team member. Leave someone blank and they use the service's own duration. | **Not published** — Duration is set per service, from presets or a custom value up to 99 hours. Neither the appointment article nor the price-options article describes a duration that changes with the team member. |
| [Buffer time that blocks the calendar](https://bookodile.com/compare/bookodile-vs-wix-bookings#buffer-time) | **Yes** — Each service can have its own buffer after it, up to 120 minutes, which blocks the person and any resource it used. Enforced on the booking page and in the booking API. | **Partly** — Buffer time can only be added after an appointment — blocking time before means adding it to the calendar by hand — and only on services with a fixed duration, not classes. The buffer does not show as busy in a synced personal calendar. A buffer before appointments is an open feature request. [source](https://support.wix.com/en/article/wix-bookings-adding-a-time-buffer-after-appointments) |
| [A waiting list with automatic offers](https://bookodile.com/compare/bookodile-vs-wix-bookings#waitlist) | **Yes** — Your team adds customers to the list; they cannot join it from the booking page. When a booking is cancelled, the time is offered automatically by email to whoever has waited longest for that service, with three hours to confirm — or until the time starts, if sooner — and confirming books them straight in. If nobody confirms, it goes to the next person waiting for that service within about ten minutes, as long as the time is still ahead and still free. | **Partly** — For classes, a waiting list notifies people in order when a place opens, with a holding window — but customers can only join it through a Wix mobile app; on the web they are prompted to download one. For appointments the list is kept by hand with no automatic notification, and Wix points to a third-party App Market app. Courses have no waiting list. [source](https://support.wix.com/en/article/wix-bookings-adding-and-setting-up-waitlists) |
| [Recurring bookings](https://bookodile.com/compare/bookodile-vs-wix-bookings#recurring-bookings) | **Partly** — Your team can repeat a booking of one service from the calendar — weekly, every two weeks or monthly, up to 52 visits — and cancel one visit or the whole series. A combo or a booking with add-ons cannot be repeated. Customers cannot book a recurring appointment themselves. | **Partly** — The business can set an appointment to repeat, up to 12 occurrences at a time in one order. Customers cannot book a repeating appointment themselves, and multi-service appointments cannot repeat. [source](https://support.wix.com/en/article/wix-bookings-scheduling-recurring-appointments) |
| [Booking rules](https://bookodile.com/compare/bookodile-vs-wix-bookings#booking-rules) | **Yes** — Minimum notice (up to 72 hours), how far ahead (up to 365 days), start times every 5 to 60 minutes, auto-confirm or your approval, and a cancellation window (up to 168 hours) with late cancellation allowed or not — one set of rules per location. | **Yes** — A booking window with a start and a cut-off, cancellation and reschedule windows, manual approval per service (not with deposits or plan-paid services), and slots generated from the service duration plus buffer or at a fixed interval. [source](https://support.wix.com/en/article/wix-bookings-setting-up-your-booking-policies) |
| [Customers cancel or reschedule themselves](https://bookodile.com/compare/bookodile-vs-wix-bookings#self-service-cancel-reschedule) | **Yes** — Customers reschedule or cancel themselves from the link in their confirmation and reminder emails, or in My Bookings, outside your cancellation window, and can tell you why. A reschedule moves the whole visit in one step to a free time with the same team members and price, and the customer's calendar event moves with it. Inside the window they cannot reschedule online, and can cancel only if you allow late cancellations, once they accept they may be charged. | **Yes** — A 'Manage Booking' button in confirmation, reminder and change emails; members also have a 'My Bookings' page. Not available for bookings paid at a varied price, for services with manual approval, or for multi-appointment bookings made by non-members. [source](https://support.wix.com/en/article/wix-bookings-allowing-clients-to-cancel-or-reschedule-sessions) |
| [Deposits and no-show protection](https://bookodile.com/compare/bookodile-vs-wix-bookings#deposits-no-show) | **No** — No card on file and no deposits, because Bookodile does not process payments. A no-show is marked on the booking and counted on the customer's record, never charged. You can let customers cancel late once they accept you may charge them; collecting it is up to you. | **Yes** — A fixed-amount deposit with the rest paid in person (a percentage deposit is an open request), a card-on-file requirement, and cancellation or no-show fees as a fixed amount or a percentage with free, paid and last-minute windows. Charging a saved card works with Wix Payments, PayPal, Stripe and three other named processors; fee setup is desktop only. [source](https://support.wix.com/en/article/wix-bookings-selecting-how-you-charge-for-bookings-services) |
| [Extras offered while booking](https://bookodile.com/compare/bookodile-vs-wix-bookings#upsells) | **Yes** — Extras are offered while booking, per service or per category, in up to several rounds, with an optional discount for adding them. A service can be offered only as an extra, off the list of services. | **Yes** — Service add-ons that change the price or the duration — up to three groups of seven for appointments, one group for classes and courses, which cannot add time. Not offered in the native mobile app. A third-party Service Upsell Guru app is also recommended. [source](https://support.wix.com/en/article/wix-bookings-creating-and-managing-service-add-ons) |

### [What customers see](https://bookodile.com/compare/bookodile-vs-wix-bookings#group-customers)

| | Bookodile | Wix Bookings |
|---|---|---|
| [A website for your business](https://bookodile.com/compare/bookodile-vs-wix-bookings#website) | **Yes** — Included in every account, the free one too. Built from your booking setup — services, prices, team, hours and reviews stay in step with it — with templates (switching one keeps every page, or takes a template whole with its texts rewritten for your business from your setup), one page or several in any of them, your own look, extra pages, languages, your Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and YouTube as icons in the footer, and a photo gallery in categories you name — a category linked to a service opens its photos with that service's price and a Book button — photos made or enhanced with AI, changed by asking in your own words — pointing at any part of it on the preview — or by hand, typing straight onto the page and moving, copying or changing its sections where you see them, on a computer or a phone, and nothing public until you publish. An old website comes over by asking: its pages rebuilt as sections, with their own words and photos. It starts at yourname.bookodile.com; connect a domain you already own, at no cost, and it moves to www.yourbusiness.com. Every Book button opens your booking page at bookodile.com/your-business — the one under each team member with that person already chosen — and a Website visits report counts who came, from where, and how many booked, without cookies. Running promotions, upcoming events and announcements show on it too, and update themselves as they start and end. No blog, no online shop, and no code of your own. | **Yes** — Wix is a website builder: Bookings is one app on a site built in its drag-and-drop editor or from more than 2,000 templates, beside a blog, a store and other pages. Every plan has its AI website builder — 'create your site from a single prompt and flow between AI generation and drag and drop' — and in the Harmony editor, released in January 2026, the AI agent Aria creates, edits and rearranges pages, sections, layouts, colours, fonts and text from a chat, whenever the owner asks, on the desktop view only (the mobile view is edited by hand); a site built in the older Wix Editor cannot be moved to Harmony. Adding Bookings adds its own pages to the site — a service list showing each service's name, price and duration, a page per service and a booking calendar — drawn from the services set up in the dashboard. A free site runs on a Wix address (username.wixsite.com/sitename); a Premium plan connects the business's own domain, and most yearly or multi-year plans include a voucher for a new domain's first year, with the first purchase of a plan only and never to renew a domain. The entry plan, Light, has no scheduling — taking bookings needs Core. [source](https://www.wix.com/plans) (read 2026-10-17) |
| [Makes and improves your photos with AI](https://bookodile.com/compare/bookodile-vs-wix-bookings#ai-photos) | **Yes** — Included in every account, the free one too, up to 30 photos a month per account, each try counted. Take a photo on your phone and Enhance it, a team member's or a service's too: in your own words in any language, with ideas for your kind of business, by picking a look from pictures, or by putting a person or finished work into a photo of your own place, with before and after to compare. Create a photo from a description for a place on your website that has none — the top of a page, a service's cover, a card, or your gallery — in your own photo style. Then say what should change, like "remove the hand" or "clear the background", and it edits that photo, keeping every version. AI Chat can make several at once. You choose each one, and nothing is public until you publish. It works on your website's photos: it will not make a person's face, your team's portraits or the outside of your place, because customers should see the real ones. | **Yes** — Wix's AI Image Creator makes an image from a prompt typed into 'Describe your image' and a chosen style, in the Wix, Studio and Harmony editors and the Wix app, and saves it to the site's Media Manager. The help centre names no plan, but says 'This feature is not currently available to all users' and limits generation to 1,000 images per user. In the Harmony editor an image's toolbar also offers Remove Background, Edit with AI (change a part of an image by selecting it and describing the change), Enhance Image ('Automatically improve the image's lighting and color') and Replace background (pick an image or describe one). | [Listed in a consumer marketplace](https://bookodile.com/compare/bookodile-vs-wix-bookings#marketplace) | **No** — No marketplace. Your booking page carries only your business, and no competitor is shown beside you — which also means it sends you no new customers. | **No** — No Wix-run consumer directory. The channels it documents are the business's own site, Google, a Facebook or Instagram button, ClassPass and Hopp. ClassPass is a third-party channel whose terms Wix does not publish. [source](https://support.wix.com/en/article/wix-bookings-about-booking-integrations) |
| [An app for customers](https://bookodile.com/compare/bookodile-vs-wix-bookings#customer-app) | **No** — No consumer app to download. Customers book in the browser. My Bookings, a web page they sign in to with an emailed code or Google, lists every booking they hold with any Bookodile business; there they cancel, keep their details up to date and can turn off a business's SMS. | **Yes** — Spaces by Wix, free on iOS and Android, lets customers book, reschedule, join class waiting lists and pay; Fit by Wix is a second app for class-based businesses. A Branded App under the business's own name is a paid subscription, plus Apple's and Google's developer fees. [source](https://support.wix.com/en/article/about-the-spaces-by-wix-app) |
| [Booking page languages](https://bookodile.com/compare/bookodile-vs-wix-bookings#languages) | **Yes** — The booking page, the embedded widget and every email about a booking come in 17 languages: English, Slovak, Czech, Vietnamese, German, Hungarian, Polish, Ukrainian, Spanish, Italian, French, Portuguese, Dutch, Romanian, Croatian, Slovenian and Chinese. Each location has a main language — English, Slovak, Czech or Vietnamese — and can add up to seven more, from the same list as its website. With more than one, the booking page shows a language switch and opens in the customer's own language when the location offers it (from the link, their last choice or their browser), otherwise in the main one. Every email and SMS about a booking goes out in the language it was made in; SMS in Ukrainian or Chinese go out in English, because they would not fit one SMS, while their emails and booking page stay in that language. Service names, descriptions, team bios and the location's other texts are translated automatically by AI, and the owner can correct any translation; names are never translated. The booking page's own wording in the 13 languages beyond English, Slovak, Czech and Vietnamese was written by AI and has not yet been read by a native speaker. What your customers read and what you read in the dashboard are separate settings. | **Partly** — The booking pages' system text is available in a fixed list of languages that includes Czech, English and German; Slovak and Vietnamese are not on it. A site in several languages uses Wix Multilingual, which cannot translate the booking form automatically and is not available in the Wix Harmony editor. [source](https://support.wix.com/en/article/changing-languages-in-wix-bookings) |
| [Your business's time zone, shown correctly](https://bookodile.com/compare/bookodile-vs-wix-bookings#timezones) | **Yes** — Every time is shown in the business's own zone, including on your dashboard. A customer in another zone sees both clocks before they confirm. Locations in different zones each keep their own; the group's combined monthly totals count on one clock. Each location writes its times on a 24-hour or a 12-hour clock (2:30 PM) — its country's until you pick one — on the booking page, in emails and SMS, on the website and in the dashboard alike. | **Yes** — Show the business's time zone, the customer's, or let the customer choose. The mobile apps show the business zone only, and with several locations only the default location's zone is shown on the site. [source](https://support.wix.com/en/article/setting-the-time-zone-display-in-wix-bookings) |
| [Branding](https://bookodile.com/compare/bookodile-vs-wix-bookings#branding) | **Partly** — Your own domain, at no cost: connect one you already own and your website moves to www.yourbusiness.com (the website row). The booking page its Book buttons open stays at bookodile.com/your-business, and the widget puts the same booking inside any other site you run, on that site's domain. Your logo, a second logo for dark backgrounds, a logo that links back to your own website, your brand colour with a contrast check, and announcements along the top of your booking page and your website. No custom CSS. | **Yes** — The booking pages are pages of the business's own Wix site, designed in the editor and served on its own domain — every paid plan includes a custom domain, free for the first year on a yearly plan. [source](https://www.wix.com/plans) |
| [Dark mode on the booking page](https://bookodile.com/compare/bookodile-vs-wix-bookings#dark-mode) | **Yes** — The hosted page follows the customer's device, and a sun-and-moon button lets them switch; My Bookings keeps the same choice. Your brand colour is adjusted to stay visible on dark. The embedded widget stays light on purpose, so it matches the website it sits in. | **Not published** — Nothing is published about a dark theme or a device-following theme for the booking pages. Their colours are whatever the owner designs in the editor. |
| [Book buttons on Google, Instagram and Facebook](https://bookodile.com/compare/bookodile-vs-wix-bookings#social-booking) | **No** — No Reserve with Google or Instagram integration. Your booking link, bookodile.com/your-business, goes in your Google profile, your bio or a post like any link. Campaign tracking, an included add-on, gives ready-tagged links for Google, Instagram, Facebook and TikTok and counts the bookings each one brings. | **Yes** — Reserve with Google needs a connected domain, a paid plan and a verified Google Business Profile, and live availability on Google is currently limited to one business category. A Book button on Facebook or Instagram, not both. A ClassPass channel. [source](https://support.wix.com/en/article/wix-bookings-adding-and-setting-up-a-google-book-button) |
| [Found on Google under your own name](https://bookodile.com/compare/bookodile-vs-wix-bookings#search-visibility) | **Yes** — On from the start, once an automatic check of the business name passes — normally within minutes: your booking page is in the sitemap search engines read, under your business's name, with your own description and address as the snippet, and Bing and others are told when it changes. A published website is listed the same way at its own address, from its first online booking or two weeks after publishing. One switch keeps both out. Search engines still decide what to show and when. | **Yes** — Every booking service page is indexed by default, titled with the service and the site name, and a 'Let search engines index your services' switch takes them out. The whole site has its own indexing switch and SEO settings per page, and Wix says a site can be crawled and indexed whether or not it is on a paid plan. ### [Running the business](https://bookodile.com/compare/bookodile-vs-wix-bookings#group-operations)

| | Bookodile | Wix Bookings |
|---|---|---|
| [An AI assistant that sets up and runs your account](https://bookodile.com/compare/bookodile-vs-wix-bookings#ai-assistant) | **Yes** — AI Chat, in every account including the free one, with a daily allowance per account. Ask in English, Slovak, Czech or Vietnamese, typed or spoken: it answers how-to questions from this documentation and your own settings, explains why a day has no free times and who changed what; sets up team, services, prices, hours, rooms, booking rules, add-ons, logo and brand colour, and the order of your services and team; writes bios, your about text and service descriptions; builds and changes your website's draft and brings over the words of an old site; and moves, cancels or hands over bookings and blocks time, once or repeating. It shows every change first and waits for you to apply it, with Undo — only texts and the website's draft go in at once, still with Undo, and the website stays private until you publish. It answers you, not your customers, and does not create bookings. | **Yes** — Aria, opened from the dashboard, answers questions and completes tasks in site setup, business management and analytics, typed or by voice, and chatting with her uses no AI credits. Wix's developer documentation says that in the dashboard she reads and updates site data across the CMS and Wix's business solutions; the help centre does not list which booking tasks — a service, the hours, a booking — she carries out. In the Harmony editor she also edits the site itself (the website row). Other agents run on AI credits, which every new Premium plan includes each month and a free site gets up to 30 of a day, 120 a month: Smart Chat answers site visitors, Kleo plans marketing, an AI Custom Agent runs automations such as follow-up emails and payment reminders, and the AI Phone Agent — in English, for US users only — answers calls. | [Calendar](https://bookodile.com/compare/bookodile-vs-wix-bookings#calendar) | **Yes** — Day, week and month. Drag a booking to a new time or a different person — the calendar names any clash first, and Undo puts it back for ten seconds after. Block out time for the business, one person or a resource — once, or repeating every day, on chosen weekdays, every two weeks or every month. Add a walk-in; filter by person, service or resource. A visit with several services moves as one — dragged, or from the booking dialog, which shows the times that fit everyone first and still takes any other day and time, listing what it clashes with. | **Yes** — Weekly, daily, staff and list views, filtered by service, team member or location, colour-coded by team member or service, with drag and drop and blocked-off time. A monthly view, and drag and drop in the mobile app, are open feature requests. [source](https://support.wix.com/en/article/wix-bookings-about-the-wix-booking-calendar) |
| [A native app for your team](https://bookodile.com/compare/bookodile-vs-wix-bookings#staff-app) | **No** — No native app. The dashboard is a web app that installs to a phone's home screen and works there, online. No push notifications: the team is told about bookings by email. | **Yes** — The Wix app on iOS and Android manages the schedule, marks bookings paid or attended, takes point-of-sale payments and assigns resources. Resources can be assigned in the app but created only on desktop. [source](https://support.wix.com/en/using-the-wix-app-to-manage-your-bookings) |
| [Several locations in one account](https://bookodile.com/compare/bookodile-vs-wix-bookings#multi-location) | **Yes** — Up to 50 locations in one account — a guard against misuse, raised on request — each with its own team, hours, services and booking page. A new location can start from one you have — its services with prices, hours, booking rules, logo and colours and website — and takes the team members you pick. Customers are one list across them, a team member can work at several with one sign-in, and a group dashboard totals them. The free plan covers one location; each location is billed at a base rate. | **Yes** — Several business locations under one site and one plan, with team hours set per location. A course can be offered at one location only, booking emails go to the default location's address, and the site shows the default location's time zone. [source](https://support.wix.com/en/article/wix-bookings-offering-services-at-multiple-locations) |
| [Roles and permissions](https://bookodile.com/compare/bookodile-vs-wix-bookings#roles-permissions) | **Yes** — Owner, Manager, Employee and Receptionist ready-made, or build a role and set each permission by hand — including whether someone sees only their own bookings, customers and figures, takes bookings at all, can message customers, or manages billing, which only the owner can give. | **Yes** — Bookings Staff Member, Bookings Manager and Bookings Admin roles, plus custom roles such as one limited to managing personal working hours. Every team member with a role uses one of the plan's collaborator seats — 5 on Core, 10 on Business, 100 on Business Elite — and an invitation expires after 30 days. [source](https://support.wix.com/en/article/adding-staff-permissions-in-wix-bookings) |
| [A history of who changed what](https://bookodile.com/compare/bookodile-vs-wix-bookings#change-history) | **Yes** — Activity records changes to bookings, customers, services, resources, the team, time off, blocked time and settings: what changed from what to what, who did it — a team member by name, the customer, or automatic — how and when. Each role sees the history of what it can open, a booking's own history sits in the booking window with what the customer was sent, and it exports to CSV. Kept 24 months, in every account. Not recorded: what a role may do, prices set per team member or category, payment records, billing and add-on records such as vouchers; a note shows as edited, never its words. | **Partly** — Site history records every save and publish in the editor with the date, the time and the email of whoever made it, and can restore an older version. Changes collaborators make in the dashboard cannot be viewed that way — an open feature request, with SEO settings and DNS records as Wix's examples. An activity log of team, domain and site events exists only on Wix Studio for enterprise. [source](https://support.wix.com/en/article/roles-permissions-request-viewing-your-collaborators-edit-history-in-the-dashboard) (read 2026-10-16) |
| [Reports](https://bookodile.com/compare/bookodile-vs-wix-bookings#reports) | **Yes** — Revenue, bookings, average value and cancellation rate over the last twelve months, charted month by month, with bookings by status, new customers, top services and the team ranked by revenue; per location or across all. A no-show counts as a booking, never as revenue. Website visits shows who came to your website, from where, and how many booked. Forecasting, revenue split, booking sources and payments received are included add-ons. The period is fixed at twelve months. | **Yes** — Bookings analytics: bookings over time, top customers, popular services and session times, staff activity, customers at risk of leaving, overdue payments and booking channels. Sales and accounting reports sit in Wix Analytics, and the booking list and staff hours export to CSV. [source](https://support.wix.com/en/article/understanding-wix-bookings-analytics-reports) |
| [A leaderboard for the team](https://bookodile.com/compare/bookodile-vs-wix-bookings#team-leaderboard) | **Yes** — A monthly competition on bookings or revenue that the whole team sees, with a winner per category if you want one, results frozen and emailed on the 1st, and a Hall of fame. Revenue amounts stay hidden from the team unless you show them. Up to three at once, per location. An included add-on. | **Partly** — The Bookings analytics staff report compares team members on sessions, unique clients, session time and check-in rate, for roles that can view analytics; the staff member role's documented permissions do not include reports. No ranking, winner or goal is described. [source](https://support.wix.com/en/article/understanding-wix-bookings-analytics-reports) |
| [Point of sale, stock and payroll](https://bookodile.com/compare/bookodile-vs-wix-bookings#pos-inventory-payroll) | **No** — No point of sale, no stock, no payroll — a walk-in is a booking. The included payment-tracking add-on records what each visit was paid, by cash, card or transfer, with part-payments and tips shared between the people who did the work, and Revenue split works out each team member's share at the percentage you set, month by month. | **Partly** — Wix POS Register is for businesses in the US and Canada only; mobile POS and Tap to Pay in the US, UK and Canada, elsewhere through Square or SumUp. Stock is handled by Wix Stores. A Payroll Calculator app works out gross pay from flat, percentage or per-participant rates; it does not run payroll. [source](https://support.wix.com/en/article/wix-mobile-pos-an-overview) |
| [Confirmations and reminders](https://bookodile.com/compare/bookodile-vs-wix-bookings#reminders) | **Yes** — Confirmations, a reminder the day before at 8:00, two hours before or both — your choice — changes, cancellations and follow-ups by email, all included, in the language the customer booked in. By SMS too with the SMS messages add-on: the add-on is free, and SMS need a paid plan — billed monthly with it, per SMS, capped each month. SMS reach numbers in 14 countries today; Czechia, the US and Canada are coming soon. | **Partly** — Email confirmations, cancellations and reminders come pre-installed, with only certain parts editable. Text and WhatsApp messages — confirmation, cancellation, approval and one reminder fixed at 24 hours before, timing not adjustable — draw on the plan's monthly quota of 50 on Core, 100 on Business and 250 on Business Elite, with no rollover; larger bundles are sold separately at prices the article does not print. [source](https://support.wix.com/en/article/wix-sms-your-sms-quota) |
| [Messages with one customer, in one inbox](https://bookodile.com/compare/bookodile-vs-wix-bookings#customer-messages) | **Yes** — Messages, in every account: write to one customer from the calendar or their page by email, SMS or both, and read their answer in one inbox, with unread ones marked and the team told by email. Email is included; SMS need the SMS messages add-on on a paid plan, billed per SMS — Czech, US and Canadian numbers coming soon. The customer answers on a page the message links to, not by replying to the email or text, and cannot start a conversation. No WhatsApp. | **Yes** — Wix Inbox: the team writes to one contact and reads the answer in one inbox, choosing per message between email, site chat, WhatsApp Business, Instagram and Facebook, and can attach a service link, a coupon or a pay link. Collaborators with inbox permission can reply, and a contact can be assigned to one of them. Texting from a business phone line is only for existing Business Phone Number users. The articles state no plan requirement. [source](https://support.wix.com/en/article/wix-inbox-connecting-your-communication-channels) (read 2026-10-16) |
| [Email and text campaigns](https://bookodile.com/compare/bookodile-vs-wix-bookings#marketing-campaigns) | **Partly** — No bulk email or SMS campaigns. Included add-ons instead: a win-back sequence of up to three emails to customers overdue for a visit, judged by their own usual gap, never to anyone with a booking ahead and starting over after their next visit, the later ones with a one-time discount code; promotions and announcements on your booking page and your website, an announcement optionally kept on the booking page for customers who have booked before; and Campaign tracking, which shows which ads and links bring bookings. | **Yes** — Bookings automations with triggers such as a customer checking in a set number of times or not having visited for a while, acting by email, chat or push, for up to 50 services per automation; email campaigns from the same dashboard; a loyalty programme on plans that accept payments. Custom text campaigns go through the Omnisend app. [source](https://support.wix.com/en/article/creating-automations-for-wix-bookings) |
| [Reviews](https://bookodile.com/compare/bookodile-vs-wix-bookings#reviews) | **Yes** — Collect a rating and comment after each visit, publish them on your booking page and website when you choose — all of them, never hand-picked — reply in public or privately, and ask every customer, not only the happy ones, for a Google review in the same email. | **Not published** — The help centre has no article on collecting or publishing reviews for booked services, or on asking for Google reviews. Third-party review apps exist in the App Market. |
| [Gift vouchers, discount codes and promotions](https://bookodile.com/compare/bookodile-vs-wix-bookings#vouchers-discounts) | **Partly** — Gift vouchers, discount codes, promotions and upsell discounts, all included. No packages or memberships, and vouchers are issued by you rather than sold online. | **Yes** — Coupons as a fixed amount or a percentage (not on free, custom-priced or plan-paid services), gift cards that work with Bookings, memberships billed on a schedule, session packages (not for courses) and a loyalty programme. [source](https://support.wix.com/en/article/wix-bookings-about-memberships-and-packages) |
| [Google or Outlook calendar sync](https://bookodile.com/compare/bookodile-vs-wix-bookings#calendar-sync) | **Partly** — Bookings are pushed into one Google Calendar per location as they are made, moved or cancelled. One direction only — Google events do not block your availability — not one calendar per team member, and no Outlook sync. Customers can add their own booking to Google, Outlook or Apple Calendar. | **Yes** — Google Calendar syncs both ways; Microsoft Outlook or Office 365 and Apple Calendar also connect, per team member, covering only that person's sessions and their primary calendar. Google all-day events do not block time, and time blocked in Wix does not sync out. [source](https://support.wix.com/en/article/wix-bookings-about-syncing-personal-calendars-with-wix-bookings) |
| [Intake and consent forms](https://bookodile.com/compare/bookodile-vs-wix-bookings#forms) | **Partly** — A consent checkbox in your own wording, with a link to your privacy policy — each customer's agreement is recorded with the date and the wording they saw — invoice details that can be optional or required, and a notes field. No custom intake forms or questions, and no e-signatures. | **Yes** — A booking form per service with contact, choice, date, text, file-upload and signature fields and conditional logic. Waivers are handled by the Intake Forms app. [source](https://support.wix.com/en/article/wix-bookings-creating-and-setting-up-your-booking-forms) |
| [Your data: export, import, API](https://bookodile.com/compare/bookodile-vs-wix-bookings#data-portability) | **Partly** — Export bookings, customers and the activity log to CSV whenever you like. No import tool yet — customers from another tool are added one at a time or as they book — and no public API. | **Yes** — The booking list and staff hours export to CSV with fixed fields; contacts export up to 50,000 at a time. Contacts import from CSV or Gmail, but booking history does not — migrating it is an open request. A REST API and SDK cover services, team members, resources, availability and bookings. [source](https://support.wix.com/en/article/exporting-reports-on-bookings-and-staff-in-wix-bookings) |
| [Support](https://bookodile.com/compare/bookodile-vs-wix-bookings#support) | **Yes** — Email support, included, with the documentation at bookodile.com/docs behind it, and AI Chat in the dashboard, which answers how-to questions from that documentation and from your own settings. A new business is walked through its setup in AI Chat right after signing up — its services, texts and website — at no cost. No phone line, and no chat with a person. | **Yes** — 24/7 customer care on every plan by chat, callback and email. English chat runs Monday to Friday, 2 AM to 6 PM Eastern, with callbacks around the clock; German has its own hours; no Slovak, Czech or Vietnamese support language is listed. No paid onboarding or migration service is documented. [source](https://support.wix.com/en/article/contacting-wix-customer-care-for-support) |

## [Where Wix Bookings is stronger](https://bookodile.com/compare/bookodile-vs-wix-bookings#strengths)

- **[The booking pages are your whole website](https://bookodile.com/compare/bookodile-vs-wix-bookings#strength-the-booking-pages-are-your-whole-website)** — Wix is a site builder first: the booking pages are pages of your site, on your own domain next to your blog, your shop and your search settings, designed in a drag-and-drop editor or by its AI builder. Bookodile's website is built from your booking setup, with templates, and has no blog, no online shop and no code of your own; its booking page stays at bookodile.com, a page the website's Book buttons open, rather than becoming pages of the site.
- **[It takes your customers' money](https://bookodile.com/compare/bookodile-vs-wix-bookings#strength-it-takes-your-customers-money)** — Wix Payments processes cards in 15 countries at published rates, other processors connect elsewhere, and Bookings supports a fixed deposit, a card on file, no-show fees, pay links and point of sale in the US, UK and Canada. Bookodile does not process payments; the payment-tracking add-on records what you were paid.
- **[Memberships, packages, gift cards and loyalty, sold online](https://bookodile.com/compare/bookodile-vs-wix-bookings#strength-memberships-packages-gift-cards-and-loyalty-sold-online)** — Wix sells memberships billed on a schedule, session packages, gift cards and a loyalty programme through the same checkout as the bookings. Bookodile has gift vouchers, discount codes and promotions, issued by you rather than sold online, and no packages or memberships.
- **[Native apps for customers and for the team](https://bookodile.com/compare/bookodile-vs-wix-bookings#strength-native-apps-for-customers-and-for-the-team)** — Customers get the free Spaces by Wix app and, for a subscription, a Branded App under your own name; the team gets the Wix app on iOS and Android. Bookodile's dashboard and booking page are web apps that install to a phone's home screen.
- **[More channels and a public API](https://bookodile.com/compare/bookodile-vs-wix-bookings#strength-more-channels-and-a-public-api)** — Reserve with Google, a Facebook or Instagram Book button, a ClassPass channel, two-way Google Calendar sync plus Outlook and Apple, a REST API and an App Market. Bookodile pushes bookings to Google Calendar one way, has no social booking buttons and no public API.
- **[A long list of booking-page languages, and a person on the line](https://bookodile.com/compare/bookodile-vs-wix-bookings#strength-more-booking-page-languages-and-a-person-on-the-line)** — Wix's booking pages come in a long list of languages including Czech and German, and every plan has 24/7 customer care by chat and callback. Bookodile has 17 booking-page languages — Slovak and Vietnamese among them, which Wix does not list — and support by email, with AI Chat in the dashboard for how-to questions.
- **[One inbox for chat, WhatsApp and social messages, and AI that answers customers](https://bookodile.com/compare/bookodile-vs-wix-bookings#strength-one-inbox-for-chat-whatsapp-and-social-messages-and-ai-that-answers-customers)** — Wix Inbox gathers site chat, email, WhatsApp Business, Instagram and Facebook messages in one place, and your team replies on whichever channel the customer used. Smart Chat can answer site visitors with AI, and in the US an AI Phone Agent answers calls in English, both on the AI credits that come with a Premium plan. Bookodile's Messages write to one customer by email, or by SMS with the SMS messages add-on on a paid plan — Czech, US and Canadian numbers coming soon — and the customer answers on a page the message links to rather than by replying; there is no WhatsApp or social inbox, and AI Chat works for your team, not your customers.

## Notes for anyone selling Bookodile

These are the claims not to make against Wix Bookings, because they are not true:

- Do not quote a dollar, euro or pound figure for a Wix plan. The plans page renders prices per visitor region, we could read none for Europe, and every figure in circulation is a third-party one. Send people to the plans page.
- Do not say Wix Bookings cannot be embedded in a website that is not on Wix. No help-centre article covers it either way.
- Do not say Wix has no duration per team member, no dark mode and no reviews feature. Each is undocumented, not disproven, and third-party review apps exist in its App Market.
- Do not say Wix takes a commission on bookings. It publishes none; the only per-transaction charge is card processing when Wix Payments is used. Do not describe ClassPass's terms — Wix does not publish them.
- Do not claim Bookodile is cheaper for a large team on one site. Wix charges per site, not per person, so a business with many booking spots may pay less on Wix. Compare the two bills.
- Do not imply Bookodile takes card payments, deposits, a card on file or no-show fees. Wix does; Bookodile does not.
- Do not repeat review-site or app-store sentiment about Wix as fact.
- Do not say Bookodile's website does everything a Wix site does. It has no blog, no online shop and no code of your own, and its booking page stays at bookodile.com rather than becoming pages of the site.
- Do not say Wix shows no history of an individual booking. What its help centre says is that collaborators' dashboard edits cannot be viewed the way site history can; a booking's own history is not covered either way. Nor say what Wix's Aria can or cannot do with bookings — the help centre says she completes tasks in the dashboard without listing which booking tasks.

## [Common questions](https://bookodile.com/compare/bookodile-vs-wix-bookings#faq)

**[Is Wix Bookings free?](https://bookodile.com/compare/bookodile-vs-wix-bookings#faq-is-wix-bookings-free)**

The app is free to add to a free Wix site, but that site cannot take a booking — the help centre says the site must be upgraded to accept bookings, and the first plan that does is Core. Bookodile is free at one location with up to two active booking spots and 40 bookings a month, with every add-on included — though SMS need a paid plan.

**[Can I move my customers from Wix to Bookodile?](https://bookodile.com/compare/bookodile-vs-wix-bookings#faq-can-i-move-my-customers-from-wix-to-bookodile)**

Wix exports contacts as a CSV file, up to 50,000 at a time, and the booking list as a CSV with fixed fields. Bookodile does not yet import either. Customers are created the first time they book, so the list rebuilds itself as regulars return, and your team can add anyone by hand.

**[Does Bookodile take payments like Wix?](https://bookodile.com/compare/bookodile-vs-wix-bookings#faq-does-bookodile-take-payments-like-wix)**

No. Wix processes cards through Wix Payments or a connected processor and can hold a card on file, take a fixed deposit and charge a no-show fee. Bookodile does not process payments or take deposits; payment stays between you and your customer, and the payment-tracking add-on records what arrived.

**[Which languages can my customers book in?](https://bookodile.com/compare/bookodile-vs-wix-bookings#faq-which-languages-can-my-customers-book-in)**

Wix's booking pages come in a fixed list of languages that includes Czech, English and German but not Slovak or Vietnamese. Bookodile's booking page comes in 17 languages, Slovak and Vietnamese among them: each location has a main language and can add up to seven more, which customers pick on the page, separately from the language you read the dashboard in. Its wording in the 13 beyond English, Slovak, Czech and Vietnamese was written by AI and has not yet been read by a native speaker.

**[What happens to my Wix website if I move the bookings?](https://bookodile.com/compare/bookodile-vs-wix-bookings#faq-what-happens-to-my-wix-website-if-i-move-the-bookings)**

It can stay on Wix — Bookodile replaces the booking pages, and its widget embeds in a Wix page with one snippet, or you link to the hosted page at bookodile.com from your site, your Google Business profile and your bio. Or the website can move too: Bookodile builds one from your services, prices, team, hours and reviews, at yourname.bookodile.com or on a domain you already own, connected at no cost. It has no blog and no online shop, so a Wix site that sells online or publishes posts is better kept. Bookodile has no Reserve with Google or Instagram button, so those become ordinary links.

**[How does the pricing compare for a business with three people?](https://bookodile.com/compare/bookodile-vs-wix-bookings#faq-how-does-the-pricing-compare-for-a-business-with-three-people)**

On Wix, three people who each manage their own calendar fit inside Core's five collaborator seats, and the price is the site plan whatever the headcount. On Bookodile, three people each taking bookings at the same time are three booking spots, which is above the free tier; the figure for your country is on the pricing page. If they share one room, that is one spot.

## Who Wix Bookings is for

Wix Bookings is not a product you buy on its own. It is an app inside the Wix
website builder: the booking pages are pages of your site, the price is the
site plan that unlocks them, and the team is managed through the site's
collaborator seats. The product itself is general: appointments, classes and
courses, resources, automations, memberships and packages, and payments where
Wix Payments operates. It suits a business whose website is already on Wix, or
that wants the site and the bookings designed in one editor on one domain.

Bookodile is a booking system first. It builds a website from the booking
setup — services, prices, team, hours and reviews — or sits beside the site
you already have, as a hosted page or a widget; either way the booking page is
its own page at bookodile.com rather than pages of the site. It is built for a
business where people are priced and timed differently, where a room or a
machine is the real limit, and where one visit can involve two people.

## The pricing model, in practice

Wix charges per site. The plan you need for bookings is Core or above, the
displayed price is a year paid in full at purchase, and it renews for the same
period at the full price. There is no trial of a paid plan; a new plan carries
a 14-day money-back guarantee, a renewal does not.

Two things follow from per-site pricing. First, the plan sets how many people
can manage their own calendar: every team member with dashboard permissions
uses one of the site's collaborator seats — five on Core, ten on Business, a
hundred on Business Elite. Second, text messages are metered by plan — 50, 100
or 250 a month — with larger bundles sold separately at prices the help centre
does not print.

Prices vary by region and the plans page renders them for the visitor's
country. We could not read a euro or pound figure from it, so this page quotes
none; read the plans page from your own country.

Bookodile charges per location plus per booking spot that took a booking that
month. Nobody is a seat: any number of people can have an account and a role,
and a person who takes no bookings costs nothing. There is no text-message
quota: with the SMS messages add-on on a paid plan, each SMS is billed with
the plan, capped each month. The figures for your country
are on [the pricing page](/pricing) and the model is explained in
[What Bookodile costs](/docs/what-bookodile-costs).

Which is cheaper depends on the shape of the business. A large team on one
site pays Wix one site plan whatever the headcount; on Bookodile the same team
pays per spot. A small business may be free on Bookodile, website included,
and cannot take a booking on a free Wix site.

## Two services, two people

Wix's help centre is specific here.

A customer picks a first service and presses *+ Add Service*; up to five
services go into one multi-service appointment, on the same date and at the
same location, and the customer can choose a team member for each. The
sessions appear one after another in the calendar, and the times offered are
only those at which every service in the chain is available. It needs a paid
plan, works on the web but not in any Wix mobile app, uses only the default
booking form, cannot repeat, and the customer can only cancel the whole
booking.

Three things Wix says it does not do. Processing time — a gap inside a service
where the person is free — is not possible and is an open feature request. A
multi-service booking cannot be limited to one team member for every service;
the article's own FAQ answers that with "Currently no". And two services at
the same time for one customer, with two people, can only be set up by the
business, not booked by the customer. What the article does not say is how
each person's time is blocked when the services go to different people; it
describes the result only as sessions one after another. This page does not
guess.

In Bookodile the same thing is a combo service: two stages, each with its own
team member, its own duration and its own room if it needs one, booked back to
back, and each person blocked only for their own stage. The customer books
once.

## Switching from Wix Bookings

- **Customers.** Wix exports contacts as CSV, up to 50,000 at a time.
Bookodile has no import tool yet; customers are created the first time they
book, and your team can add anyone by hand.
- **Bookings.** Wix exports the booking list as CSV. Bookodile does not import
bookings; run the two side by side until the Wix calendar empties, then
  switch the link.
- **Your website.** It stays on Wix if you want it to. Embed Bookodile's widget
in a Wix page with one snippet, or link to the hosted page. The site plan is
a separate decision — Light and the free site keep the website without
scheduling. Or replace it with Bookodile's website, built from your booking
setup, at yourname.bookodile.com or on your own domain at www, connected at
no cost; it has no blog and no online shop, so a site that sells online is
  better left on Wix.
- **Memberships and packages.** Wix sells them; Bookodile has neither, so
anything a customer has already paid for in a package is yours to track.
- **Reserve with Google, the Facebook or Instagram button, ClassPass.** These
are Wix integrations; Bookodile has no equivalent. Your Google Business
profile can still carry the booking link.
- **Payments, deposits and cards on file.** If Wix takes them for you, you need
a separate way to do that. Bookodile records payments; it does not take them.
- **Text reminders.** Wix sends them from the plan quota. Bookodile's reminders
are email, and SMS with the SMS messages add-on on a paid plan — to numbers
in 14 countries today, with Czechia, the US and Canada coming soon.

## Where each one fits

Choose Wix Bookings if your website is on Wix, if you want the bookings to be
pages of your own site, designed in one editor beside a blog or an online
shop, if you take payments, deposits or no-show fees at booking, sell
memberships or packages, want native apps for customers and team, or need
Reserve with Google.

Choose Bookodile if you want bookings, and a website built from them, without
buying a site plan, if your team is bigger than a plan's collaborator seats
and you would rather pay for booking spots than for seats, if a room or a
machine limits what you can take, if your people are priced or timed
differently, if you want cancelled appointment times offered to a waiting list
automatically, or if your customers read Slovak or Vietnamese.
